Can you put more info on the accessory switch panel your talking about? I want to do the same on my taco and don't want all these wires running to the battery. Thank you! Your truck is coming out bad ass! Love it!
@@GearheadJT I have the sPod bantam with Touchscreen and will be connecting the same light bar. I plan run the amber and white lights independently. Plus I'd like to connect the amber into the running lights but have to figure out how to do that.
There are two ways you can wire your dual function bar depending on how you would like it to operate. If you want to control the amber and white separately, then you will need 2 harnesses. With the 2 harnesses, this gives you the ability to run the Amber/White lights individually or all at the same time. The LED bar will have 3 wires on it. BLACK, WHITE, GREEN BLACK: Ground WHITE: Power For The White LED's GREEN: Power For The Amber LED's The harness will have DT Plugs at the end. You will want to remove those plugs as they are not needed. After the plugs are removed there will be red and black wires exposed. between both harnesses, you will have 2 red wires and 2 black wires. You will want to connect the 2 black wires together and connect them to the black wire on the LED bar, Then one red to the white and the other red to green. That will give you the ability to run the lights independently. If you are just wanting the full bar to turn on/off at once and not be able to control separately then you would just need one harness. Remove the plug from the harness. Connect the black wire from the LED bar to the black wire on the harness. Then combine the green and white wire on the LED bar to connect to the red on the harness.
I bought same set up. Watched this video and your squadron install. Id love to see how you actually wired those lights to that Cali raised switch system. Did you use relays? Or can you eliminate those with switch system?
I just installed mine today on a Prinsu and the same light that failed on yours flickered and then went out on mine. Did you get a replacement or repair this one?
I have a 40inch Clear Cali light bar slim on my prinsu for over a year and so far so good.been looking at this dual function but I hear there has been issues with them
I just ordered the same 43" LED and generic switch panel from your other video but am not sure what cable I need to order to run the ambers and white separately to different switches. My LED came with a very short cable running out of the drivers side. What cable do I need to get to hook the LED up to the switch panel? Any info would be appreciated going to do a self instal watching your switch panel instal video! Thanks
Have all Cali raised and plane on switching all to heretic lights but broke lol but all my Cali raised rusted or rusting got some stuff new that I’m selling and don’t drive in salt to much and clean it a lot just sheep stuff and have there fogs hidden light bar and 43 dual function and bed stiffners
Good to know, how long have you been running the Cali raised stuff for? I'm actually going to install the bumper bar and bed stiffeners here in the next couple days.
@@GearheadJT 2 years but I took pictures and they sent me out new ones for free and kept old grinder them down at work and used steel it paint and they look ok to sell for cheap n bout athen fab bed stiffners and Baja fogs
I’m about to install this bar on my Southern style offroad rack. I bought the auxbeam 8 gang panel. I’m guessing I need to wire the amber lights separately on the relay box. Do I split the grounds and use same one? Not sure yet
Hi. how did you connect the switches for amber and led? mine will only work both and the LED alone, but not with amber alone, i like to see that the amber only works as well while the LED is deactivated.
If you haven’t figured it out I have the same type of wiring. There are 2 positive and 1 negative. If you are wiring this in to a control panel with fuses you will need to piggyback the negative. I’m not sure if I am using the correct terminology, but I can send you pics on Instagram if you have questions. @project_06streetrunner.
So I just got the same light bar and I’m a bit confused on the wiring. I also have a switch panel but I just want to make sure I’m doing this right... is the green wire for the ambers? And did you just tie in both grounds to the one coming from the actual light bar? Thanks
i agree. i have the same question. Can you tell us what the 3 green/black/white wires control on the lightbar. so stupid caliraised doesn't include that on the site or in the box!!
Good question, I actually just used the largest in diameter bolt I could find which would fit through the bracket, and also used the hardware which came with the light bar.
