I like how you leave your mistakes in the video and do not edit them out.... I have to say I am 19 and been watching your videos for about 2 years and If there is one thing I have learned from you is try... try.... try and try harder. Nothing is ever easy, if it was simple every body would be doing the things you do. What surprises me about you is not that you are a mechanic is the way you think out side the box. Every video that you make has something unique I always learn. I am not broke or need to fix my own car, but I do it for fun and to learn. One never knows when skills like this may be needed. I have a uncle who used to be a mechanic when I was a young kid and he never had fancy machines or a shop, he worked from his truck and same as you did what he had to do to get the job done. quick struts!!! best investment i ever made cheaper than the cost of a single strut at auto zone why go through the hassle quick struts come with new spring strut bellows bearing..etc got two from ebay for my 2006 mazda 6 for 120 bucks!!! brand new complete!!! watched a video for a mazda 6 bang done deal 15 minutes each side now everything associated with the struts is new not just the strut..i do like your videos and your message stay strong..

Hey I really appreciate the knowledge you're sharing! It's so hard to find an honest mechanic I've just started learning how to wrench on my own car to save money. In fact I think now I need new shocks after watching your video. Before I just thought I would need to replace my upper strut mounts..Thanks for saving me a ton of time and headache! I need to change struts and I usually could use some Jesus when working on a car....cause they seriously have the devil in them...everything is harder than it looks BUT I won't stop! I got quoted from $150 to $300 just for the labor. I already had quick struts. Going to bless my life with saving that cash thanks to you. This man's words even more important in late 2020..

Nice video and good thinking about creating the flats on the shaft with the grinder to get the nut off. I've done this a couple times in the past but now I just buy the whole strut assembly (springs already in place). They aren't that much more money, save a shit load of time and you don't have to worry about the spring compressor coming off and taking half your face off with it. To me, this is one of those jobs were it really is worth it just to buy the whole thing assembled
You and me are very similar. I came to your channel to see if car flips would be a place to start before Real Estate investing.
