This year was my first Adepticon, and I had so much fun. Getting to do all sorts of classes, compete in the Deadzone tournament, and wander the exhibitor hall was just such a satisfying time. I got to give you a fist bump on Wednesday night while we were waiting to get into the GW previews. Honestly if it wasn’t for your channel I probably wouldn’t have joined this hobby and gone to Adepticon . So thanks Uncle Atom!

If you are looking for a TTCombat distributer in the US, my local shop is one! They were some of the people working at the TTCombat booth. If you like their MDF, Resin bits, Carnevale, Rumbleslam, or Dropfleet Commander, Gopher Mafia Games ships anywhere in the US. I picked up so much stuff from Black Site Studios! Really excited to play some Don't Look Back. Their sculpts are super characterful, and I'm looking forward to picking up Lunar at some point. Also, their Don't Look Back expansions are in VHS boxes. So neat!

Those Black Site Studios Corporate Kill Team minis are definitely based on Weyland-Yutani Commandos from the Alien franchise, from the apesuits to the pulse rifles. Pretty cool!

Same thing happened to me. Came back with cold/sinus infection. Thankfully not Covid. Also went hog wild in the vendor hall. Felt so good to shop at a convention again. So many cool things this year from BlackSite Studios and painting stuff from monument/game envy.

I purchased a good amount of Black Site Studios minis over the holidays for my wife's upcoming The Expanse RPG campaign. Between these minis and some Reaper sci fi models to flesh it out she now has enough to run some complete scenarios. They are very high quality and I am looking forward to painting them up!

Victoria Miniatures are pretty nice. I have a few character models from them and some penal troops, along with a female Commissar. Use them as a corrupt prison warden and her loyal, cutthroat prisoners in This Is Not A Test and also in Stargrave, but they come from a penal colony planet that got nuked. Victoria minis make great old hammer-style minis.

I got myself the ruin walls from the terrain crate set and they are awesome but the Conners aren't textured on the inside and have these holes from the modelling process I guess so I just used a bit of air dry clay and with a wet finger smoothed it out in to the corner as and it came out looking great so would recommend that step.

I've only been to Dragoncon a mostly panlist con of all things needy. And yes I agree anyone should think about going to a con if they can! Even if it's a small one in they home town or region they'll great and good haul by the way!

I seem to have a slight cold the last couple days perhaps its from being more willing to go out now that pandemic is slowing down. Its also Allergy season so it could be that (I used to eat lots of Honey to combat that but I now for other reasons have had to cut out my honey consumption)

"Porn resin"... sounds like someone's been shopping at Hobbylink Japan or Rainbow Ten... 8:40 Basicks split off from Micro Art Studios some years ago. I have some items from them but I believe them to be long gone. 15:50 I was really disappointed when I bought Secret Weapon heads. The gas mask detail is interfered with by the sprue connection, or it isn't cast well at all. It's why I switched to Victoria heads.

If you're not gonna use a coat of resin on the ponds try some like AK Interactive AK079 Wet Effects Fluid. Sounds weird, but it's so much better than gloss varnish.

What is filler primer?

It’s an automotive spray paint product. It’s sandable and comes in a rattle can. Very convenient for filling in slight imperfections in terrain models. That said it doesn’t fill quite as much as it sounds like it does.
