As someone who was diagnosed with brain cancer a few months ago and has been going through treatment, I actually really like hearing you guys joke around about it. It makes the whole ordeal feel less scary, y’know? Update: y’all in the replies have been so sweet thank you so much 💖 after a few months of radiation therapy I’m in stable condition, and my life’s getting back to normal now 😊

i remember watching this video every day a year ago my dad had cancer then, he was really sick, was 60kg, couldn't eat or drink, but we were all staying really positive about the situation he died, it was a fucking tragedy i can't even put it into words how shocking it was since he was really getting better in his last days (or maybe that's just the thing when a person is dying their body does this really confusing thing before death) i miss him a lot, the memories are scary and beyond sad but jacob's videos calmed me down with how funny he was and how positive he was about his cancer i used to watch multiple creators with cancer then and all of them are in remmission now cancer is a bitch, i'm so glad jacob is okay now, he's a great guy honestly i love him so much

honestly I really respect them both for taking SA seriously. I got SA'd earlier this year and honestly have been struggling ever since, it's really nice to see someone take it seriously and promote organisations that help those in a similiar situation. I've been in and out of hospitals ever since, and taking on therapy and rehab groups to get through it. My heat goes out to anyone who has been in a similar situation, and I hope whoever has gone through it is okay! Thank you Kurtis and Jacob, you guys honestly have helped me in trying to trust other people again. Love you man

This week has been hell for me cuz I was sexuality assaulted. I can't eat, sleep, or shower. The PTSD and flashbacks are literally the worst things I have ever been through in my entire life. I just want it to stop. Thank you for calling him out on his bullshit.

I’m luckily not a victim of SA, but watching this reminded me of my friend and my cousin, that both experienced SA and are still in a really depressing state of mind. Survivors are really strong and shouldn’t be downplayed or triggered. This mentality is disgusting and the reason victims of SA are often downplayed and not get justice. This makes it also for people so scary going to crowded places and fear something happening to them. For example, I can’t enjoy my time to the fullest on a party, because of constantly worrying for someone to put something in my drink. I also hate, that this dudes viewers are probably 99% children under 13, who might think SA is something normal and isn’t serious and can be used for videos and pranks.

On an entirely serious note, I hope Jacob’s cancer journey goes okay. It is a hard road that does not treat people lightly, and I really wish him the best. As a victim of domestic abuse myself (though mine was parental not romantic) thank you speaking up about this. Joking about this stuff is not okay, it ruins lives.

This video is from ages but i need to put this out to the world in some way and this one of my comfort videos and is related to the topic so im doing it here. During quarantine ive come to realize that i was sa by a person that I really trusted at the time. I say i come to realize it bc when we talked about having sex i said i wasnt ready so she "convinced" me of doing it, saying that she lost at the same age i was so it was not a big deal. I was only 14. At the time i didn't realize how much i felt and was manipulated by her and her actions. She controlled what i did and i didnt want to disappoint her. When she ditched me to be with someone else i felt so unworthy of being loved, and that the inly thing people viewed me as was a way of being satisfied. To this day i still feel this way with every relationship that i have and i can never trust anyone fully. This is not a joke, this is a traumatic event that so many people go thru. Thank you kurtis for making this video and doing the best you can to help the people that gone trough this trauma.
