I was surprised to see someone else doing the Blazer tank in a S10. When I did mine 25+ years ago there wasn't much info on such a install. What made mine different is that I had to squeezed in air bags in each corner. The filler neck gave me the most grief. I notched the frame and was going to relocate the gas door behind the wheel well but ended up just making a door in the floor of the bed. Behind the tank I installed a 3" square tubing to support the tank and cut a 2" hole and installed a square tubing to make a receiver hitch. I made brackets and mounted a Brazer bumper. Using a G-body spring loaded license plate bracket I can flip my license plate open to expose the hitch. I'm following your series closely since now I'm planning a 2nd gen S10. Keep up the fabulous job!
Why I even added a class 3 receiver hitch to mine and putting a full size spare tire on it. If he uses Cal Tracs, he won't have traction issues either.
The pump clears the bed floor. I have to notch/channel one structural rib since I left the lines running diagonally. I didn't feel comfortable bending the hard lines off the sender that much
@@CheekyGarage ok I thought the holes in the crossmember were for bed bolts but I kept looking and figured out what you said thanks anyways sorry to have bothered you
