Any chance you’ve tested the surface temp of this bad boy? Wondering how it compares to a black stone or camp chef. Neither of those get quite hot enough to achieve wok hei. This would be a sweet addition to the outdoor kitchen if it cook replace the wok burner and flat top.
I was going to test the temps but worried about how it might affect my probes being metal on metal. Any tips on how to get the temp? Was thinking a heat gun but need to borrow one from a buddy
@@Svenddiesel infrared thermometer is what most people use. Might be worth investing in as it will help you be able to identify temperature zones and maintain correct temperature for temp sensitive food.
