I won in court and have custody of my 4 children. The whole process was a result of my ex partner stopping me from seeing the kids. It was a Long, expensive and mentally exhausting process but worth every penny and minute 👊🏻.

My ex is a alcoholic and I had to take my child on because of this . The difference is I'm a man who as brought his 6 year old son up on his own now for 2 years . My son's mum not been in contact or paid anything for two years . Went to a solicitor to try and get full custody as I've now learned my son's mother is with a man whose deemed a danger to my child . The solicitor advised me that if the mother is not in his life that it's probably best not to go to court for full custody due to the courts probably giving the mother visitation. The system is so against the father

It takes 2 too make a child. If both parents want to be involved with the child they should be. Some people don't want to be involved. But the ones that do, no matter the circumstances should be in the child's life if they want to be

I took my ex partner to court because she stopped me seeing my son, I was struggling mentally with not seeing him and ended up taking an overdose, because of this she stopped me seeing him for 8 months. 10k and court and I won, I loved my partner but never imagined she would destroy me like she did, trusting women will be very difficult going forward. 😢

"If he is a current drug dealer" is this guy for real? Its OK In his book for someone who is around drugs daily to be with the child, what is his opinion if a drug dealer tried to get his kid on drugs? I doubt he would sanction that. Also a good parent would go to get a good/better job or some qualifications before risking getting jailed anx putting the child through all that would entail.

I stopped the biological father of my eldest from seeing her when he was no longer content on hitting me he started hurting her physically at the age of 1. I will never regret this decision and she is now a very head strong 18 year old who can now decide what she wants herself.

If he’s a ‘current drug dealer’ then there’s a risk his house could be set on fire, he could be shot at etc etc. So therefore there’s a significant risk to the child. But yeah spot on for the rest of it

Done 20 Bags in family court and my daughters mum breaches the order all the time. Police and child services won't do nothing, I have to take her back to court.. and do another 20?! Its absolute bollocks! To all the dads out there don't sign any child arrangements order woth giving police powers of arrest written in to the order otherwise not worth the paper its written on!

I go through the same thing. I split up with my ex. I got a place 5 min away from my 3 boys to be close to them. She then moved them 75 miles from me to Milton Keynes where she knew I would not be able to afford to go and get them. She then went on to say that I could only have day visits. She refused to do any of the journeys. She has now pushed me out and says that her bf is now their dad. I haven't seen or spoke to them for over a year. She is so selfish and has turned my kids against me and says I'm a useless waste of space. It's funny coz her and her bf who she had a affair with want the role as good parents but neither want to provide for them. I pay 160 per week which I don't begrudge them off if I knew they were getting it
