I've been making a Chile Relleno casserole since the 1980's. My dear friend gave me her recipe. It's much more like Chile Rellenos. Whole canned green Chile's, seeded and stemmed. Eggs beaten with a little milk and cheese. Now simply layer this up. A little of each in each layer. this way you can let everyone add what they want after cooking.
