Wiki: “Hui Muslims, Salars, Bonan and Dongxiang people commonly adopted Ma as the translation for their surname *Muhammad.* for e.g. Ma Jian, Ma Benzhai, Ma clique” *That’s really interesting.*
Duran Chen I think he misheard it - because the counting word zhī (as in nine count word sheep) sound similar to ten (shí - ninety is nine+ten) hahaha I hope you understand
There is no special word for the number of animals in the English language. So for the mandarin word, in order to distinguish it from another object, you use the word zhi. This word means that the object is an animal. It sound similar to the number ten. There are words in the mandarin language when you say it, people will automatically know what you are referring to and then later you can add on to make it more specific. Example. You have 10 pencils. You can also say you have 10 sticks of pencil. If you say 10 sticks, people know you are referring to something that is wooden and there are 10 of it. But you add the word pencil and then it makes it more clear. Even Chinese people have their own accent and slang and their pronunciation will be difficult to understand. If you just say it like that, people will not be too clear about what you want to say and people will get the wrong ideas and the wrong perception. Good communication will prevent a lot of conflicts.
Love these videos. I’m half Chinese and I’m also a Muslim, this is an amazing video. Do you recommend any tour guides? Unfortunately I don’t speak Chinese but would love to visit these Muslim Chinese strict. My wife and I would pay just to tag along with you brother! Job well done!
F1rst L1ght our faith teaches to respect all faiths. We also believe in Jesus but he’s not God. we believe in the Virgin Mary. All the stories in the Bible are in the Quran. May God bless us all. The creator of all creations!
Bwnasty7 the place is very easy to find my friend! If you search kaifeng city , once you get off the train or old bus station , you will see those street food everywhere!! Especially at night, we call it night market. But Since its a small city , the nearest airport is a bit far , takes 1hrs or so by bus.
@Ray Tennessean According to the Christianity, the torture and crucifixation of Jesus till death was the God's sacrifice being in flesh human to suffer in exchange for people given the chance to redeem from their own sins until the day of judgement. Before Jesus, God had immediate cleansing of people who committed sins by wiping them out. The literal meaning Jesus (יֵשׁוּעַ : God the savior) Christ (Χριστός : the anointed or chosen one).
I am a han Chinese , but 40 years ago my brother also had the similar wedding and my parents invited at least 1000 people attending my brothers wedding, I remember it took 5 days to treat all of them. our back yard 60 round tables and all the leftover food finally. A lot of fish were through out of the house and the neighborhood took them for their cats.
@@Qwertqwerty010 And your spamming will only increase conviction among Muslims of their own faith. And yes jesus is a messenger not lord. Putting a mortal into god is pagan.
I’m speechless!! Wow!! I can’t believe they cooked for 600 people!! Wow!! It’s a BEAUTIFUL WEDDING!! So AWESOME!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful video with me because I LOVE IT 😱😉🤩😃✌️♥️♥️
2:43 if anyone is wondering what that gesture was... That's a 'nine'. These hand signs for numbers 1-10 were originally invented by merchants to prevent their prices from being overheard by competitors, but now most Chinese people use them (and most even thinks it's a worldwide thing like the arabic numerals).
10 Bowls Celebration in KAIFENG is really amazing. I am much happy to imagine the flavour of different kind meat prepared and served to the people.Lot of love from NALANDA,BIHAR,INDIA.
Levent Oerkue he even did this in Japan(!) and it’s pure cringe fest. I‘m pretty sure many of the people he’s meeting are feeling embaressed by his porn eating sounds.
Yeah man when he went to kashgar he did that all the time and the elders were looking at him like: just eat it I'm cringing because of you and your food porn sounds
@@hardrock342 this video filmed my hometown. I saw this type of weddings meal a lot when I grow up. Please don't comment something you don't have knowledge about.
The people from Arabia, Persia (Iran and Iraq) and Central Asia came to China centuries ago to do trading and married the Han (Chinese) people, thus producing the Hui people. The Hui people are muslims.
