Really liked the simplicity, muted colors, and mood of the final image. Quite interesting to see Chinook pass in this time of year. Glad to see you’re doing well and getting back out and about. Cheers Tim

Opening weekend is our tradition, too... on our Goldwing! We were thinking of tomorrow but the road is usually more clear than you had today. Thank you for sharing your composition thoughts and settings. As a novice it is helpful as well as inspiring. Love your videos! (Mrs Mm)

Good adventure. Maybe I’ll see you up there for wildflower season, which clearly looks to be a ways off!

I have had some luck with wildflowers down lower, but not at the pass. Lots of bunchberry out at the moment.

Thanks for the video. I was on the east side of Mount Rainier National Park on Sunday and took a short hike up to Carter Falls. The falls are going strong. Cold and rainy on the east side.

Still lots of runoff and snowmelt, so the falls are going strong. That is good - glad we had a typical year for snowpack... it always helps with the wildfire season.

It was good to be up there - different conditions every year.

Last year I had a beautiful, blue bird day when the pass opened.

It was totally different this year. Thanks for watching. Pictures were a challenge, but its always fun to have snow in June.
