I'm a witness that God will give you the desires of your heart.I was married for 20 years and got a divorce...couldn't understand why I had to go through that process..it's been 4 year now and I just got married 4 months ago to this amazing man..I can truly say God give me everything thing that I prayed for..continue to trust the process God will do what he promised...

I appreciate your transparency. As a late 30-something who’s never been married and have no (living) children, this “waiting season” isn’t at all easy. And honestly, some days my faith isn’t on a 💯%. On one hand I see those around be getting married so that gives me hope, but as the years go by I have felt forgotten. I know that my God hasn’t forgotten about me but as you said, knowing that doesn’t keep me from feeling lonely. Like you, I know the man I want to be found by is a rarity, so every day I have just a mustard seed of faith to believe in due time we will unite. Be blessed.

In Your same boat! I need my man! I’m not built for this single mom life. I’ve healed and have grown so much after divorce. But I have a desire for a husband and a desire to be a wife. This was very encouraging to hear another woman say her desires and not try to burry it under “I’m not thinking about a man”. Well good for them but I can’t wait for my God fearing husband lol

I have been in my waiting season for four years since my Divorce also an I am truly enjoying myself, self love is so important I get lonely sometimes as well but it's okay I deserve to be loved and have love and I will love again I keep God first place and he gives me the peace that I need you are not alone Alisha I am enjoying my life I have two beautiful Granddaughters and they keep me busy and also I have went back to work Trust in God he will get us through this!🙏🏾❤

I wished to be married, that was literally the worst experience of my life, now I love my life and fill my time with things I love. I found happiness because I realized I was complete by myself.

This why I love watching/listening to Alisha. Thank you for your honesty. I am alone for now but not really lonely. I feel the same way when I am around family with their partners and it can feel lonely. But its my happiness for them that makes me know my right one is soon to come. Just patiently waiting. Paul said in the word I know what it’s like to have plenty and to be in want…desiring something doesn’t mean you negate the blessings that you do have and shame on anyone who makes you feel otherwise. you get lonely and it’s ok, your heart is desiring something it’s been assigned to, and have not yet received…and God will fill that space with the desire of your heart …Good you embrace the breakdown moments, those are the same moments God is using to prune you for your spouse, by having them God is going to use them to allow you to appreciate your Husband more…. Also desiring something doesn’t mean you’re not grateful for what you have . I’ve learned how to wait IN God instead of waiting ON God.

I love your sharing. Please know you aren’t alone. I divorced when I was 37 and now 50. Dated a few men but they were definitely not the one. I refuse to settle for less than I deserve. It’s hard sometimes and I wonder if anyone will ever come. Constantly asking God if singleness is what He has for me. Then I hear Him tell me to release the sadness and lean into Him. Ever day it’s a battle but realize my life as a single woman is far better than the loneliness of a toxic marriage. My kids were 5,8 and 11 when I divorced. Being a single parent was (and still is) hard. But they are all adults now and had a much healthier life with me as a single mom. I’m waiting, loving life and trusting God for what he has for me. Love you, sis!❤🙏🏽
