I did a thing.
Used motorcycle prices are so high right now due to lack of availability it was so easy to just walk from the Speed Twin to something a little different. Had the Speed Twin for a year which is about right for my 2nd bikes. Maybe this one will stick around as long as the Tiger has? We shall see!

I think the cruiser stance mixed with the bullet-proof 650 ninja engine is the perfect mix. This bike is amazing. I went from a FZX 750 to CBR 1000 to Vulcan S and love it.

Good choice, Chooch! I bought a 2015 Vulcan S last year. It was the first bike I decided to get after 14 years off the saddle. My first cruiser as well and I coudn’t be happier. I don’t think most people realize just how nimble and punchy the Vulcan S really is. If you’re ever in the Austin area hit me up... not many Vulcan S riders in Central TX :)

So happy you got one. I had done my research and was pretty sure it was the one. Your first adventure on the Vulcan S put me over the top. Wound up with a 2019 mean green Vulcan S machine.

Congrats! Was looking at this bike for a long time, was interested, but then stumbled across a victory hammer, and since I've never had a v twin, I wanted to give that a try for a while. But I can definitely see a Vulcan s in my future! Keep up the vids and stay well man

Back in 2016, i made the mistake of following my brain over my heart too much - and bought the best bike rather than the one i loved. Now i got the bike i love but sometimes miss the power. Wish i could justify two bikes because I don’t want to get rid of my current bike.

@@MotoChooch Not sure. I don't do enough offroad to justify the Tiger. If I didn't take long summer trips I get a Zero. I considered the NC750X before I got the Tiger so maybe I'll look at those. I really need 3 bikes but dont have a big enough garage. A zero to commute, a big touring bike, and a dirt bike.

@@Ti_Ti_ta honestly I don’t either. Part of me would love a Trophy though. But I know as soon as I tried to do that I’d find myself on some dirt or gravel road. I’ve done rides where gravel was just encountered by accident and if I didn’t have the Tiger I’d have to turn around. The Trophy is the only bike I’d consider selling the Tiger for. Too bad they don’t make them any more here.

That's a nice all round bike. I laugh when people say a certain bike is slow... the vast majority of street bikes (at least in North America) have a far better hp to weight ratio than most cars. I owned, for a short period of time, a bike with forward controls. I just couldn't get used to them. It threw my sense of balance off at low speeds... just too used to centre controls. No one ever accused me of being coordinated.... lol

I had a nomad 1600 with full front fairing painted to match and for some unknown reason I sold it 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ ever since then it’s been bugging the shit out of me for selling it. I’m looking hard at a bagger gold wing or Indian chieftain or challenger. But never in my lifetime will I sell my Triumph Trophy SE. I also have an Aprilia Mana 850 with the CVT transmission, with 2000 miles on it, it’s a total hoot to ride a sport naked automatic bike!!!!

Nice one mate. I must admit I love my Iron 1200 Sportster, but I love the reliability of Kawasaki, Honda etc. And they don't eat batteries (trying lithium on the HD, good so far). Wife has a Rebel 500 which she also loves. Great message in this video 👍

I’m sure the new rebel will be a blast with that much power but to me a cruiser is feet forward not down like that. I just don’t like it personally.

@@MotoChooch well it kinda does if a bike isent for you it just ain't..I had a r9t scrambler but it hurt so didn't enjoy it went for a cruiser...so I really do understand
