He recorded this piece six times, in 1919, 1920, 1923, 1931, 1933, and in 1954. This is the 1933 recording . I tend to like Cortot's 1930's recordings the most because he was more mature musically and still retained his technique.
@@engloute compared to some Mazurkas I love to listen to (Op. 17 no 2, 4) or Waltz, this piece feels very strange. But the point was just to share my feeling about it :-)
