@@TRICEATH that's why he slowly turning into a LeBron fanboy/apologist because he can get more notoriety & draw in more viewers for his own show.... Just look at how he acts on the radio show with Rob Parker
Wait. Davis got fined 50k because they said he requested a trade publicly before telling new orleans. Now chris says he did tell new orleans first and new orleans leaked it to woj. Then why did davis get fined?
Why would they fight for you if you won't fight for them. Now this trade looks like it ain't happening, youve got a locker room full of shattered confidence. I dont care in any walks of life, if you feel unwanted it's gonna demotivate u. There all trade bait, and you've lost the locker room as a leader.
How could yall say LeBron knows what they are feeling. He has never been apart of trade rumors and getting thrown under the bus by other players like him. Stop praising LeBron. He is the reason this message happened. Magic never should have signed LeBron.
Nah chris your not about to lump Mj and Kobe in with Lebron on teammates feeling pressure about trades . What do you think Durant meant by "Toxic". This what Lebron has developed in his era of basketball...no one else .
Swaggy P oh stop. Pushing your teammates harshly and making them worry about their job literally every year they’re with you is not the same thing. Don’t get me wrong, Lebron isn’t totally at fault here, but you have to admit he brings this aura of “whose gonna traded this year” everywhere he goes and yet never sticks up for or with his team. Everyone is automatically trash if they aren’t having a career year around him so no he specifically isn’t toxic as a person but he brings a toxic evnvironment everywhere he goes
Yeahhhh all of you misunderstood kd. What he was saying is why would a player like him or kwahi go to a team that has Lebron James when he is going to be the focal point? Players that have the ability to carry a team don’t want to be on the same team, especially when they are as young as them. Same thing with kyrie... it’s a reason he got to Boston and was the “lebron” for their team and realized how ridiculously challenging it is when you have players with that mindset as him and kd.
SkyrimsFinest Sorry bro but your wrong. Lebron brings the aura of “We can win a championship this year” wherever he goes. So now all the inconsistent players have to step up or leave bc there’s real expectations now
I enjoy Broussard's analysis and opinions, but wasn't he the one that adamantly proclaimed that LeBron was not going to leave Cleveland this past summer, and if he did, he wasn't going to go to the Lakers?
I'm last person who wants to give LeBron and the Lakers what they want. But i would gladly take a motivated developing young core who's upside is through the roof for cheap. I don't think they'll get a better deal than Kuz/Zo/Ingram/Hart
Tatum and hayward/brown would be a better deal. These young lakers could only win a third of their games without lebron (6-12). or anyone who gets the first pick, say knicks. Zion would be a good 1-1 trade for a team who wants to win now. But I thought the pelicans missed their best deal, which was KP plus knicks pick that could turn into zion. Lots of better deal out there though, than these young lakers who can't win.
Agreed with Colin, very well spoken by Chris. He makes a lot of sense, I’d just like to know why he doesn’t think the Lakers have a shot at Kyrie or Kawhi. It’s all been speculation on where they want to go at this point.
damn, Broussard totally changed my view of these trade talks. I felt really bad for those kids, but he's exactly right, this is the NBA. They're going to have to grow up, suck it up, and be professionals. It's definitely going to be tough, but it may be a good thing for them.
I find it funny that AD Said it will only be a one-year rental and everybody wants to give up their assets for a one-year rental the pelicans should do the deal that’s a good deal
I think Klay would be the biggest difference maker in LA. The guy has shined even underneath 4 or 5 other stars... If he's the number 2 guy I bet he averages 30 points a game.
I’m a laker fan and i don’t want them to trade everyone for AD . But Chris made the best point if they can’t play right , reasonably after 2 weeks, sucks to say but get em outta here 🤷🏽♀️
hard to understand another star carrying bron to the finals/ad cant guard the basket and three point line bron need help on def.side of the ball/better run at kd
Yeah blame the pelicans for the leak. Here's the current headline in ESPN: "Sources: Lakers hopes fading for davis trade". I guess that came from the pelicans as well huh? LOL
What Lebron really needed to do was take a 1 year deal with Toronto after Kawhis trade. Made it Lebronto and to the finals . Then in the off-season both leave for LA.
man....sad but true...the MEDIA is constantly making excuses for LBJ. LBJ knew these dudes weren't playoff worthy when he got there and weren't gonna be in the next 2-3 years...they were obviously building towards a solid squad for the future....LBJ has a history of bouncin..and blowin up rosters cuz he "needs help".....sooo......who's the problem in this scenario? ....don't worry........I'll wait.
@@TenaciousZen No sympathy for these young players. Lakers weren't waiting 3 years...who is feeding these kids bs?? Lakers always go for it if possible!
Lmaoooo bruh lebron had more points rebound assists steal and blocks than anyone ON BOTH TEAMS yeah kyrie hit that big shot and all credit to him for it but lebron ain't ride any coattails give credit to both players for doing great things
Lets get this straight... So, LeBron when asked publicly if he would love to play with AD, he says of course. Pelicans blame Klutch Sports and LeBron and Lakers for “Tampering” according to reports. But Pelicans are allow to leak theses trade proposals? That should be a fine if you ask me, trade talks should be confidential.
Chris is right. They need to come to realization....you can get traded at anytime or not. Don't come in there holding a grudge. It's just business these days in the NBA
Well if you're being traded to another team wouldn't you want that team(currently) to lose because that's your competition rather burn it down to the ground
For me I'd do this.. You will get fleeced by Boston.. You have all these young players and a couple of picks.. what is Boston offering when Kyrie walks and AD says I am 100 percent not resigning there.. This is a massive haul Lakers have offered..
Getting traded may be a normal part of the business, but having LeBron pull the strings is not a normal part of the business. It is unfair of Chris Broussard to tell the players to "man up". Basketball is a team sport. Team-building is part of the business too. And it is one thing for management or a coach to break up that team, another thing for one player to treat his teammates' lives and their family's lives as his to control.
LeBron shouldn't have any power at this point. He's 36, on the decline, is locked in for 3 more years, and doesn't have a no-trade clause in his contract. Lakers need to trade him. You're not going to attract any top players while LeBron is there (unless the player is singed to Rich Paul). The Lakers are now in the same position they were in towards the end of Kobe's career.
LBJ go get Nurkic from Portland. In a good, potent LA squad he would be even better than he is now. Make him your Shaq. And he's easier to trade than Unibrow.
