I think that if you really feel it in your heart to get Johnny(even though he may not be as experienced as you wanted) you should do it! I think that Johnny is the perfect level for Gabby because I think she’s gotten to the stage where instead of just sitting there riding around a course, she likes to train throughout the course. If you feel it in your heart, you got it!

I hope hope no one buys Johnny before you decide to get him especially with his price being reduced.

The tack store I go to, there saddles don’t go over 1,000 dollars. Proberly it is more for you because You live in Canada and I live in the united states.

I love this change in finn I think could be a combination of consistency in riding and even just riding him in a more comfortable saddle can make huge differences in horses. Excited to see where he goes!

Yesterday I rode this horse named P.k and I cantered her for the first time! P.K has long canter strides and I’ve seen other people ride her before and I thought to myself wow she is so fast I could never do that! But yesterday I cantered her... I felt like I was going to fly off but I remembered practice makes perfect my trainer said for me to keep going over the poles she set up for us to canter over but I couldn’t keep her over the poles then my trainer said to me I believe in you that you can keep her straight so I went , sat a trot and cantered her turned her down the quarter line cantered her perfectly over the poles and then haulted and then my trainer looked at me and said see I told you! And then I remembered if you believe and trust in your horse you can do anything! Daybyday you help me get my strength you helped me over come so many fears and challenges I don’t know if you knew that but you guys help me so much and I just wanted to thank you !

I think the shoes you got Storm really helps him. He isn't shuffling his feet he is picking them up. Good job from your farrier

I keep having dream about Johnny and it repeats each night! there was a paddock full of horses and in the middle was this glowing horse that look just LIKE Johnny! And each day I’ve had this dream, the horse gets closer and closer! I think there is a horse being sent from heaven to you guys! I think the moral of my dream has been (key word) patience! I have a future prediction kinda thing in my family only me and my mum have it. Some times I see angels walking through walls if I go somewhere like the doctor or even in my own home! Please believe me Laura please! I really have a feeling about this!

i think its great that u broke ur pelvis and ur still riding cuz i broke the back of pelvis in 10 places and the front was completely shattered I had to wear an external fixator for 8 months and it took me 33 years to get back in the saddle, i rode a few times over the years but now im consistently riding and i broke my pelvis in a auto accident but i was just scared because of the injuries and scared i hurt myself so bravo to you Laura for not letting fear stop you from riding its obvious ur a true horseman

I had a competition today and I came first in the jumps and my Friends and I did a competition in dressage and we came second and then in the games I came third I placed in everything I am sooooo happy💕💕💕 and we dressed up as a mean girls because we have themes for our competitions💕💕💕

There’s a back on track duns cap that would help with Finns head tossing my mare use to throw her head all the time and the cloth cap really helped

OMG Love you daybyday 😊 gabby and I are the EXACT SAME! I soooooo badly want a border collie. My dad has close friends and they have two, maisie and mollie. I have known maisie since she was only 8 weeks old. Mollie is super old though. So, I had this pony on loan from one of my mums friends, since we were in the stage where my sister got my old horse and I didn’t have one, but we couldn’t afford to buy. He was a 15hh 14 year old Anglo-Arab gelding. He was used to endurance and not great in the arena (I’m an eventer so it kinda makes it hard). He was amazing on a trail (because of his endurance history) and pretty good in the arena. We came soo far. When we first got him, we WOULD NOT canter on the left lead at all. No one could get him to do it and if they did, it took LITERALLY half an hour. We managed to fix that problem. All it took was a big 70 x 40 meter arena and patience (and treats after a good ride). We got that problem out of the away in a month and a half. Then we started on jumping. Every time I start a new horse, I start with a pole on the ground. He would walk over my pole, trot and sometimes canter it. Then I make it a set of trot poles. We walk up to it. He doesn’t even give it a chance, spooks at it and try’s to gallop away. I tried this multiple times, but it didn’t work. So my trainer got on. She walked up to the pole. He turned and spooked. I swear my trainer took have my lesson to get him over the poles but he didn’t. If we had bought this horse, we would put him into some training, but he wasn’t ours. My other trainer was watching the whole lesson. My mum tells me the next day that my other trainer was watching the lesson yesterday and that she has this eventer for sale. My other trainer said that she knows my loan is a difficult horse. This eventer is a 15.2hh 15/16 year old OTTB mare. She was put in foal but the foal was a still birth. In the pregnancy, my trainer got this other horse she could compete in the meantime. This horse is worth ALOT OF MONEY. Soooooo, she had two horses. She didn’t have time to ride & compete 2 horses. So she put this mare up for sale. We ended up trying her twice and then buying her. Clara is now my event horse. She was competed at 1.5 meters in eventing. My goal is to get there. Someday.

Fin’s color I think is light blue! He looks beautiful with blue. Light blue is one of my favorite colors, and I think light blue looks wonderful with everything! So my guess is light blue for Fin’s color.

Much as Johnny is adorable, if she could lease him that would be good, but Storm and Gabby belong together and even though she loves him can she just ride different horses and maybe Johnny will find another home, I think that signs are pointing to him finding a lovely new home, and if you have doubts Laura, then maybe he isn't the right one for your family and for Gabby. Also Finny looks sooo handsome in his new halter and ear bonnet. Also Sophie technically bought the items for Finn hehe. And what you said in one of your videos - all horses teach you something and for Gabby to have the chance to ride amazing forward going horses - Coco, Lily etc etc is a good thing for her.

I think you should get Johnny and see what happens. Storm is gabbys forever horse not this next horse. If it doesnt work out you could sell johnny or lease him out x

Those base layers you looked at first were very nice, I’m off too Olympia Horse Show ( just watching lol) in London next week and plan to buy a couple of new base layers, so I’ll look out for them. Finn looked so cute in those reindeer ears 😊 I agree with you Laura, it’s about riding the right horse for you at the time and although I understand why some people believe Sophia should be riding Finn all the time, she’s just not at the stage where she’s capable of doing the things he needs at the moment. For me, it’s not just the rider who you have to think of, but the horse too. I’m sure she’ll feel more confident to hop back on him and start trotting etc very soon after seeing how well he’s going ( good job Gabby)👍 Love seeing the girls spend time with Storm and Finn, I’m sure they do miss all the attention they get from you all when they’re at home 😊

Finns color is Teal/Light Blue I have a feeling that storm loves teaching and doing lessons with younger kids. He looks so much more happier and he goes a lot faster. We have a horse at our barn who use to show in the A circuit equitation. He was good but he didn’t enjoy it. His owner brought him to our barn and we started him at lessons and he is totally different. He loves it. I think Storm is the same way. Not saying Storm doesn’t like when Gabby rides him. He just seems to enjoy Sofie’s lessons more, especially the group lessons. Just a thought. Love you guys. Great job! ❤️
