Hey Christy and Andy, I'm listening to you for 24 years; been at countless gigs around Ireland; was booked to go to another in July, and I even managed to get you to sign my guitar outside RTE one night, needless to say I'm a big fan Christy . Hand on heart, that rendition of 'One Last Cold Kiss' was without a doubt the best version of any song I've heard you sing over the years. You and Andy knocked it out of park. Fantastic to hear Yellow Triangle, Christy. What a song. I was going to request it last week and then I got distracted with work, as you do. I made an album a few years back with Robyn Robbins mastering. You can still find a few tracks on my RU-vid channel. Anyway, I remember him telling me at the time that he was working with you on a boxset. "Loads of songs, going way back... it's unreal" he said. Yellow Triangle is my favourite song from that bunch. It is so powerful, emotive and timeless and with all that is going on in the world right now, it is still very relative, isn't it? I have seen you play live many times but I don't think I have ever heard you sing that one live before so Thank You so much for doing it this week and for giving your time during these strange days. Christy, I have been Cocooning for the last few months because like you (" twelve years before I saw the light of morning ") I was in that age bracket. I have just discovered these weekly online gigs you are doing and this is the only one I have heard so far. Fantastic I love it and looking forward now to checking out the ones I have missed.
