I agree with 67%. I have a 100 count glass top deck humidor that I use two 72 bovida packs, size 60. I also found that It’s harder to maintain the humidity level if the humidor doesn’t have at least 25 cigars in it. I live a few blocks off the ocean in Florida.

I've found the glass top humidors leak air...a lot. (Meaning) they are harder to maintain the humidity. Aside from that 67 sounds good. I try to keep mine slightly higher because I live in the cold PNW. Anyways cheers man!

Yup, 70/70 is too high especially if you’re aging. I learned that it depends what wrappers you are keeping in there. Broadleaf, maduro and other dark, thick wrappers prefer lower humidity like 63-66 and shade, camaroon or lighter wrappers tend to dry out at those lower 60 range so 67-69 is good if you smoke different types

so true. connecticuts cant take low 60s and start unraveling/smoke hot. but broadleafs cant take above 65. they start tunneling and taste bad. 65 would be ideal for both types and if you need to smoke the thicker wrapper cigars, dry box them for the appropriate time

Maintaining perfect humidity is one of the toughest things to do in the cigar hobby. I have lost boxes of cigars because humidity is too high (mold) and had cigars hard to smoke because the humidity is too low and they are like smoking hay. I agree the mid 60's are the sweet spot in my main humidor that holds more than 1000 cigars.

anything above 65% is too high for me. i found thick wrapper cigars like ct broadleaf burning horrible above this level. I prefer somewhere betwen 58-63. little to no burn issues and amazing flavor.
