If I smoked, cigars and pipe is what I’d go for. I actually enjoyed my dad’s cigar smoke (he used to some Farias from Spain or the “Toscano” run of the mill Italian cigar) but he quit about 20 years ago. Storing them, writing notes about them with a fountain pen on a journal … I’d love the ritual! Thanks for a very entertaining video!
I have been following for some time now and first time commenting. Really like your channel and the fact that we have at least 4 common hobbies. I am really into pipes, travelers notebooks, fountain pens and edc myself too. I never got into the cigar though. Your journal on cigar tasting is a great idea. I started one a few years back on pipe tobacco but never committed to it. Take care and carry on! Greetings from Greece.
I came to your channel for the Travelers Passport Notebook, but I've stayed for the cigar and knife videos. I grew up around some men who smoked cigars and I'm fascinated by the beautiful rings/wrappers. I used to get them and wear them like rings. Do you have any cigar boxes? Those were beautiful too. My Dad had a humidor for pipe tobacco. I think it had a stone that you'd mosturize with water? My step Grandfather smoked cigars, and I always thought the scent was nice. His were evidently fruit scented. I love seeing your cigar journal.
Awesome notes. One thing that would really help is if you listed the prices. It is a common mistake of many novices to buy the more expensive cigar thinking they smoke better than lesser costly ones. If you show that a cigar costing $8 can smoke just as good as a $15 cigar would help out a lot.
