I always wonder why JayD is not doing an episode showing his vintage collection. It was promised several times during ur Qna sessions. However, this not happening even after two years of starting this show. As a true fan of talking cars, I'm looking forward to see such kind of episodes from you, like the way you used to do earlier. Slightly off topic: It will be useful if you can post a video on the charging infrastructure between Hyderabad (Telangana) and Cochin (Kerala). Like Zeon and Tata in TN/Kerala, who are the main EV charge providers in Telangana? Are they 24kw or 50kw chargers? Did you have any difficulty in getting connected? Thank you in advance!
My wife drives her 2013 AStar Automatic to work daily. It gives her 10kmpl. 7k per month is her average fuel expense. Have an offer for about 2.5 lakh for parting with it. If I spent additional 7.5 lakhs for getting a 10lakh EV. The car would almost halve the burden of buying a new automatic IC engine car, by considering the reduced fuel expense. Eagerly waiting for the launch.

Regarding the observation on charging speed and driving at moderate speed , the test case may be to charge at lower speed (like changing at home) and drive in a way to get best possible efficiency.

Though so many brands enter the market and excites with these products they sort of fail to convince us a good ownership experience, I wish these brands collaborate with local work shops so that the prices and accessibility are attractive, then I could really imagine spending a 40lac on a Citroen other than Toyota or maruti

The C5 was such a good car....but they should have done a good job of pricing it less just like how jeep did for compass first and make the brand establish across users.... But now they created bad image with C5 being pricey and C3 being too simple/ cheap alternative.... Talking cars is being talked all over the place with their earlier scoop and now i guess this cud be the next talking car scoop..... 😁
Even an affordable car is still an aspirational product in India. Citroen should work on improving the desirability of C3, and not position like a cheap, barebones car (the mistake nano made). Citroen can include some missing features and do some inexpensive online marketing. To begin with, start offering existing accessories like alloys and rear camera in a pre-defined pack. Also add some horizontal styling to the rear of the car to make it look wider (like the front does). The C3 can also sell a bunch of automatics - it could be the perfect comfortable city commuter car. Perhaps, the EC3 EV can be positioned like that if Citroen don't want a petrol automatic. I hope eC3 comes with cruise control and proper automatic like manners.
