Why car manufactures doing some features in electric cars to mimic petrol cars is " People doing additional modification to get the exact sound of old Royal enfield bullets in new sound less BS6 bullets" . so people want the feel of vintage / muscle cars in new electric cars. other wise they purchase some modification items from third party to fulfill their requirements

There are companies that provide end to end technology solutions for electric cars. Bosch for example. Infact I also heard that Ola had talks with Bosch to develop their car and that Bosch was very skeptical about it considering the time they asked for it.

Hot hatch would have definitely sold had any company not compromised on other things..Abarth just had power and no features, and also, fiat never enjoyed a very good reputation. Ford Figo S again, had power, but not all the features. There are people who would buy it as their single car if other things are not compromised when it is made a hatch. Give the full experience and I believe they will sell. Polo GT was a good example, imagine if Maruti or Ford could do the same, what volumes could they have sold

In autocar's video of BE concept they mentioned that Mahindra might make most of what we see in the concept to the production model, but i seriously doubt, how that boot door will open. Only way I can see it opening is either like how it opens for a sedan or a split boot gate.

Mahindra Electric, to me, amuses as a project. Because they have been producing electric cars since they acquired Reva and then electric three wheelers for some time now. They have also been having a formula-e team since the time of the racing series itself. Yet, they not only are later than Tata to the Party and more than that they are now depending on VW elements for the project... The entire VW electrification project is newer than Mahindra's formula e team and yet VW has gotten ahead that Mahindra is depending on VW....
