7:20 The visuals of the frontal remind me of Sepulchre visuals which I’m pretty happy about. For all of Shadowlands’ problems the visuals of abilities were very cool and for some reason they walked that back a lot in Dragonflight. Hopefully they are wanting to explore more interesting visuals again instead of pretty basic circles and cones in the next expansion
Anyone else feel like the Nerubian architecture doesn't add up? Like I know it's from Warcraft 3 but I feel like a race of spiders would construct their buildings out of webbing.
Hey Dratnos, first of all, thanks for the work you put into the alpha footage! I have one question for you: How fun do you think will those dungeons be in terms of m+ play? Because looking at you footage and all those new dungeons, they seem to be fun designed, but only fun for a limited time or even just fun once. I have a feeling, that those dungeons are packed with gimmicks and casts all over the place, kind of like in early dragonflight or even s4 dragonflight still. I could be wrong, since i have no early access, therefor i am asking you, since you have some direct feedback regarding spell density and such. Keep up the great work and greetings from overseas.
dude I'm gonna be really surprised if they're not mostly awful to run in M+... they look just horrific mechanically for the most part. there's SO many things going on so if one thing is overtuned the whole thing will feel nightmarish. I'm getting the feeling on dungeons like dawnbreaker that A TON of the casts are mandatory interrupts, and then you have bosses like the last one on priory which pulse a ton of damage very quickly or the stand close or else boss in city of threads which will be a nightmare for immobile casters. we'll see how it goes but I've got a bad feeling about these. they're thematic and stuff but there's just too much going on and some of the mechanics (like on the darkness fight with the candle) that just seem AWFUL.
I have a very bad feeling about M+ in all these dungeons... I'm going to be surprised if at least have of them aren't horrific with how many mechanics I'm seeing in trash groups and with how some of the bosses look like they work. I hope it doesn't end up being a nightmare but so far it looks like Priory, City of Threads, Dawnbreaker and Darkflame Cleft 100% look like they could easily end up as awful awful dungeons to run on harder difficulties. I also think there's a good chance the others could be brutal too. We'll see how they tune things. I think there's still just too many damn things happening from pull to pull in some of these dungeons and bosses like the "stand close or else" or darkness seem just AWFUL to fight for most players.
I really did not like this dungeon the first time I did it. All the others are absolutely S tier design. This one for me was not fun at all. Have to try it again.
@@thatepicwizardguy The other spider dungeon is going to be awesome for M+ imo once they fix some pathing problems. Though watching your party accidentally fall through webs if they are a manic strafer will be hilarious. I will say most of these dungeons are gross with double pulls so I’m curious if they are trying to go for more of a pull break combat pull break combat kind of setup to start
