I was 14 when i started watching smallville. I am 35 now and i rewatch smallville when i want to remember life then and it takes me right back to a time of innocence and when i thought 35 was going to be magical... i love my life but the nostalgia is the real magic
Mortal and Hidden are two of my favorite episodes of Smallville. All the more when Clark was mortal that it solidifies that burning and real love of Lana and Clark. It makes it extra special.
"I want our first time to be as special as you are", he had said...Well, I have to say it was..by the fireplace, surrounded by dozens of candles..all you need to feel a good vibe..
My heart still ache when Smalllville separated Clark and Lana and introduced Lois and Smallville never been the same. When Lana ended leaving Smallville and Kristin Kreuk did not renew her contract I knew that was it no more Smallville for me. I was so in love with this show that stayed loyal up to Season 8.
@tancheemendoza8102 I agree. Smallville wasn’t the same after season 8. Clark and Lana had amazing moments. This being one of them. After 4 years they finally make love. It’s truly beautiful. Compared to love scenes done nowadays. It’s slow and passionate. By the fireplace too. Tom is just so gorgeous! I love the way Lana slowly unbuttons his shirt and he never takes his eyes off her. Then he removes her cardigan slowly. They way slowly fall to the floor. Oh my! Tom’s body is in tip top shape here for sure!! Since he’s been out in the sun ☀️ more he’s got that golden luscious farm boy tan. His shoulders are larger than melons 🍉 lol 😂 Lois was always meant to be with Clark. It’s what was always done in the comic books but for once I would have liked to have seen the writers bend the rules just once. My favorite character on the show was always Chloe. I have a soft spot for people who are in love and carrying a torch for someone but they don’t feel the same way. Chloe loved Clark too. I guess I like their relationship more because there was less drama. When Clark and Lana had good moments and less drama I loved it. Lois fans might get mad 😠 at me for saying this but his love scene with Lois lacked the passion for me. There’s way more passion here. If I was to loose my virginity to someone I would love for it to be with someone like Clark. lol okay 👍 way too personal but still. ❤️❤️
Oh and here we have another blind Lana supporter than ships her with Clark no matter how big bitch she was through the whole show, especially seasons 5-7.
My song is love Love to the lovers shone And it goes up You don't have to be alone Your heavy heart Is made of stone And it's so hard to see you, clearly You don't have to be on your own You don't have to be on your own And I'm not gonna take it back And I'm not gonna say I don't mean that You're the target that I'm aiming at And I'll get that message home My song is love My song is love I know And I'm on fire for you, clearly You don't have to be alone You don't have to be on your own And I'm not gonna take it back And I'm not gonna say I don't mean that You're the target that I'm aiming at But I'm nothing on my own Got to get that message home And I'm not gonna stand and wait Not gonna leave it until its much too late On a platform I'm gonna stand and say That I'm nothing on my own And I love you, please come home My song is love, is love I know And I've got to get that message home
Love scenes like this are so special. Then the middle of this season they break up. Argh 😠 If I was going to loose my virginity to a guy it would definitely be Clark. So honorable and gentle. Man oh man Tom is so fine! Love the height difference between him and Lana. Geez you guys did you see how huge his shoulders are? They’re quite literally larger than her head! Kristin you lucky woman you! Proof you can have a steamy love scene like this with most of your clothes on. It’s a beautiful scene unlike the ones today with people literally eating each other out and slobbering 🤤 and eek 😬 and it’s by the fireplace too. I have a question! Are those real candles 🕯️ I’d worry about one of them falling and catching on fire 🔥 lol 😂 Maybe there LED lol 😂
Making love is so much sweeter when you love the one you hold. These two were ALL the 🔥 Smallville should have ended with them together. Lois and Clark come along later, and are better with different actors portraying them.
It was always bittersweet watching these Clana scenes... they were so beautiful and we waited ages for them, but at the same time we knew they weren’t going to last due to comic book canon. I was a huge Clana fan at the time, but I will say that I became more of a Clois fan after going back and watching the later seasons again more recently.
I love lana and clark and Lois and clark and clark and Chloe love rivals the only downside is that clark is not attracted to Chloe but she is beautiful
I must have lapped Smallville (all 10 seasons) at least 20 times and I have to say that I’ve come to the conclusion (at least in the writing), that the difference between Clark’s conversations with Lana and his conversations with Lois had marked differences. With Lana when Clark evaded one of her questions, she would keep poking at him and felt entitled to an answer; while with Lois she accepted his answer. So I think that gave Clark the permission he needed to be himself and to share with her when he was ready. Don’t get me wrong; I love both Lana and Lois but I think Lana was much more demanding with Clark than Lois ever was.
@missydee9342 I do love “Clana,” and they had amazing moments but I have to agree. Lana in seasons 2 and 3 especially would pester him for not “opening up,” to her, then if she was in danger like with Seth, Ian, etc he’d warn her and she accuse him of being jealous. She’d dismiss him and didn’t have enough faith in him. I stare at the screen and say “Lana what the hell is wrong with you girl? Men in reality don’t share what’s in their hearts. It would be nice if they did but they’re not designed that way. It’s been that way since time began. Give him so damn breathing 😮💨 room and allow him to open up on his own terms. If you love him start trusting his judgement that maybe he’s keeping a secret to protect you and those closest to him.” One of many things I would say. lol 😂 Rewatching the show myself for the first time since the show ended. 9 and 10 were good but Smallville ended for me in season 8. My favorite character was always Chloe as I related to her the most. She loved Clark so much and even up through season 10 never stopped loving him even though she married Oliver which I have to be honest wasn’t a big fan of that storyline but it is what it is. I know Clark didn’t feel the same way but I saw glimmers of throughout the series especially in season 6 of a possibility of something but Jimmy shows up. Lois was a welcome relief in season 4 after 3 years of clana drama. Her sarcasm and wit made everyone else open up more I thought. Clark and Chloe were able to maintain their relationship and they had something special that I just didn’t see with Lois or Lana. I know Chloe wasn’t always perfect in the series and made her fair share of blunders but Lana was no angel 😇 Clark and Chloe are my 2 favorite characters of the show!
@@clairemendoza8082 I agree with a lot of the points you made. There were times when I thought Clark might get together with Chloe and I wasn't sure if that would ruin their friendship. I think he was much more dependent on Chloe than anyone else and he really needed her (just not in the bedroom apparently)! She's a great actress too! I must also confess that the sexual chemistry between Clark and Lana was off the charts. The sexual chemistry between Clark and Lois seemed a bit stifled. But I've always loved their banter back and forth--it was great! I wander if the animated version of Smallville (that I hear they are working on) would have that life like AI like you see in video games. They could bring back hot Clark Kent/Superman!
@@missydee9342 Couldn't agree more. I was 8 I believe when this episode aired and I remember watching it with my 2 friends and we were squealing so loudly. LOL :) When Lana started taking off his shirt we're like "oh crap should we be watching this?" LOL My friend Shannon said "ah heck with it. Watch it." LOL :) Now that I'm 26 and watch it I'm like how the hell did Kristin concentrate in this scene? LOL :) Tom's shoulders are just GIGANTIC!! They'd crush her lol :)
@@clairemendoza8082 Wow! You were just a baby when you first saw this scene! Amazing that u could appreciate this type of scene at only 8 years old. To this day I still think no actor will surpass Tom as Clark Kent-he was just beautiful in this role.
@@missydee9342 I couldn't agree more. At the Comic Con 2009 panel Tom was the last to be introduced to the panel and he received a standing ovation and the applause lasted for a full 5-7 minutes. Even his fellow cast members were encouraging it as well. He's not only handsome but humble too. Rare these days for celebrities. Yeah when this episode came out I was rewatching at my friends house over the weekend because she missed it the night it aired. We squealed like you wouldn't believe. We all were like OMG they're finally doing it! LOL :) I still have that reaction today. The song is also amazing. Really fits the scene. This is the closest Clark and Lana became to having a real relationship. Clark could be intimate with her without worrying if he'd hurt her because he didn't have his powers. Damn that man is fine as hell! Love the hair! That body holy smokes! Fire! :)
Alright i am a Cloiser and am here to hear out different opinions. So go ahead please i would like to debate LOIS IS BETTER THAN LANA IN EVERY WAY. CHANGE MY MIND!
@@cookiemolly2225 I can’t deny that Clark and Lana had chemistry. Especially in the earlier seasons. But I think the relationship Clark and Lois had was far more natural. It started out with the two getting on each others nerves and they slowly realized they liked each other. Lana’s role was crucial in the series and since Smallville is the show of Clark’s youth, it’s understandable that they focused on Lana as a romantic partner for Clark. But she was way to sneaky in season 7 also she couldn’t tell Bizarro wasn’t Clark! Lana is also a more emotional character which is not a bad thing. But Clark being Clark, I think a person that is a little more laid back, fun and funny is a better match to keep him going in his stressful and demanding life. Yes Clana had it’s good days, I loved the episode Lana got Clark’s powers as well. Especially the beginning of it. Perhaps the reason I prefer Clois so much more is because I prefer Lois as a character as well but I think there is more than that. I think the introduction and development of her and Clark’s relationship was done damn near perfectly for Lois. Despite appreciating what Lana brought to the series, I think she was a bit overused as a romantic partner for Clark. At the end of season 7, her message should have been real but she should have done Prometheus anyway. And in season 10, after Clark was over Lana and in a serious relationship with Lois, I think Lana could have returned to Smallville for the season and in my opinion that would be the perfect usage for Lana Lang. I respect your opinion for liking Clana, I am not against it too, I just prefer Clois. But I do not understand how you could see Lois as Clark’s sister, I think the two had the best chemistry ever. The name callings, annoying each other but being there for each other when it really mattered and not being able to stay mad at each other... Yes this could be a relationship between two siblings but if you have watched the show, U think you can tell that Lois Lane was much more than a sister. She was Clark’s soulmate, that is undeniable. It is. But you might think that Clana was done better than Clois and thats where we are separated. I hope I was clear and respectful, I would like to continue this debate.
Alicia ? Lol. After their first date Alicia basically sexually harassed Clark by showing up to his bedroom uninvited, putting pics of her in his locker and loft without his consent, forcing herself on him... If a guy did the things Alicia did to Clark he would be seen as a creep and a psycho and would get reported to the police. Not to mention that she threatened Clark and used his weakness (kryptonite) against him. Then when she came back the next season she drugged him with red k and tried to take advantage of him sexually and betrayed him by telling his secrets to Chloe when she promised him that she wouldn't tell anyone.
