His little "oh". Him seeming genuinely insecure with the "wish me luck". It showed so well that this actually is his best friend since childhood and this changes everything between them and such a big deal even in Superman scale.
When it comes to defiance they are Lois' children lol...they broke my heart when Jordan said, 'maybe we're not that close to begin with'...and then the big reveal lol
@@omarcogle1965 Oh yeah, the Bizzaro fam was a train reck that we couldn't look away from. But Lois, Clark and the boys do have a couple of issues to work through.
So Lana is literally in Superman's face listening to his voice as he lays on the ground and she doesn't see its Clark. DAMN! Those are some good glasses. I need those.
@@micahfranklin4560 hmm maybe 🤔 but then there’s Bizarro Lana Lang who’s still out there looking for her doppelgänger so oh vey that’s gonna be intense sheesh 😒 like Jonathan there’s gonna be the headache’s 🤕 etc
It's a big deal for this Superman to reveal his secret to Lana, but at the same time it isn't. Usually Lana Lang knows that Clark is Superman, and it's actually strange that it took this long for this version of Lana to learn the truth.
@@omarcogle1965 like I said, Lana usually knows that Clark is Superman in various continuities. Also, Lana technically found out Clark's secret in the Superboy TV series.
@@StareachValcin That is true too, in Superboy Season 2, she did find out, but I think her memory got erased, and in the Season 4 Series Finale, she did find out but didn't say anything to Clark.
Other versions I believe actually have Clark be in smallville a lot after johns death. For example we know teen Clark left and it was literally a young adult that comes back.
With Jordan's emotional issues I think he's somewhat overly attached. He does need some separation, figure out who he is as himself with all the new changes before being part of a couple
@@natebill3328 It looks to me like he has an emotional attachment issue when it comes to Sarah that could be part of his emotional issues, but they haven't explicitly said it
I love the moment, when they all agree immediately before clark even finishes to ask the question. And the revealing is my favorite scene from the whole series ❤️👌
@@rachelpodwolsky7512 i'm not too sure about that, maybe she actually wanted that as well, but didnt wanna fall in clarks back, but as soon as he started to say something about it, she was totally relieved, and thats why she shouted out "absolutely" straight away. Anyway, thats how i interpretated it 😊
@@rachelpodwolsky7512 no, she didn't stop her sentence, she finished. she meant to said "Absolutely." Clark would've noticed if not and also she wouldn't have let her kids talk over her
These boys need to be careful about what their secrets are going to do to people that they care about if they find out that they’re super family the villains are going to come after them😢!
Exactly...and I'm not going to allow 15 year olds to vote on such a big secret( one was taking drugs to be better and the other can't stop thinking about his stupid crush)
Fax. Like you will have other girlfriends. And Jonathan talking about keep a secret about a drug dealer while Clark is trying to keep a secret that protects the lives of those he saves and his family. I loved the episode but the boys annoyed me
@@micahfranklin4560 hey when are jon get his Kryptonian powers do thing they will give jon x ray super vision and flight different powers from his twin brother so when Jon get his Kryptonian powers his and Jordan powers will be different right l ike they will not give jordan x ray super vision they will give that to jon right with flight yea
Did anyone else notice how terrified he was to tell her I think deep down a part of him whether he'll acknowledge it or not wishes he told her all those years ago, they will have to broach the subject of what if and the writers of this show have been amazing so i think they will handle it beautifully and in an adult way.... and lois totally did not want lana to know and I wonder whether this will present a situation inwhich lana tells clark she wish he had told her about his feelings when they were younger this is about to get spicy also notice the parallels to how he revealed himself to lana and then when he dropped her off home to scenes of superman and lois in superman returns I wonder if we are headed to a situation of "unresolved feelongs and things unsaid" then when lois says there are things she hasn't revealed to clark after years of marriage, then jordan saying what he said about them not all being as close as she believed they were. It doesn't take a genius to see where we are headed .... b4 you snap on me understand (how lois came to be the one and try to understand who clark always wanted it too be!) This will only bring them closer and before you say lana and clark are just friends understand clark and lana were never "just" friends!
Same, I do think it will be good to have all of these feelings out in the open. We already know Lois and Clark are the end game but there’s nothing to say that Clark and Lana can’t have the adult conversation of why he never told her and the what if of it all. Of course it will come down to a whole “I’m glad you never told me because if you did we wouldn’t have the kids we have now “ kind of stuff. But there is always the tension of coming to terms with someone’s first love and now Clark has come completely clean to Lana they will have to deal with it. It would be cool if they do a kind go memory episode like how they did in season one that shows us a bit more of young Clark and Lana’s friendship as they work through this revelation in present day.
Well don't feel bad remember it's Supergirl Kara finally made up her mind to tell Lena the truth and boy did it hurt it hurt a lot that she lied to Lena all those years and she was scared man but Alina already knew Lena just didn't knew that Carol would come out to her hello it was Carl Danvers coming out day she came out of the closet pardon upon too bad that show was a piece of s*** and it ended just like that as a piece of s***
@@charlesneely well I wasn’t saying that Clark and Lana would be a couple in anyway. John and Lana was already teased so yeah. But just having the characters face the natural emotions that come with this kind of reveal. A secret that made Clark not able to fully be himself around Lana until decades later. It would just be good to get a scene that touches on all of those feelings that are still there, it isn’t love, but still get a sense of closure of their youth.
Although so many say Lois disagreed, I don't think so. I at first thought she was cut off by Jordan, too. And yes, he talks over her, but if you listen closely, she doesn't stop talking. she finishes the word as if Jordan didn't start talking and her voice melody implies that she didn't plan to add another word. "Absolutely" was the only thing she wanted to say. Clark and Lois have amazing communication. Jordan talking over his mom wouldn't be enough to overshadow if she disagreed and Clark would've noticed immediately. But he was genuinely surprised and happy about his entire family agreeing without hesitation. Also, the reason she went from saying "no way you're gonna tell anyone" to the boys to saying "absolutely" within half a minute is because she is 100% supporting Clark. It's his secret. As his partner who he trusts completely and has a family with, it's hers to keep, but not hers to expose. Therefore, for as long as Clark decides to not tell anyone, she's having his back with that. But that doesn't mean that she doesn't want him to tell anyone. She just leaves the decision entirely, 100% up to him. Edit: forgot about it, but Lois even told Clark during this episode that keeping the secret from Lana caused Clark pain, so why would she be against him telling her???
I’m so interested to see what happens with Bizarro Tal Rho (seen in the preview for the next episode). Does he meet regular Tal and be like “You tried to WHAT? Dude I stopped listening to Zeta Rho as soon as I could.” Or maybe they’ll fuse and that’s how we get a “good” Tal? Does he die? We’ll find out in a month I guess lol
Well honeslty I kinda think that’s how it’s going to go down. It’s not even more like he suddenly becomes good but just like has the past of having a family
3:50 Of course he needs to remove his glasses, because superman doesn't wear glasses. LOL I was expecting him to cut down some trees or etch his name on the road, with his heat vision. Glasses are expensive, Clark grew up on a farm and knows the value of the dollar.
These boys really don't know what this secret means. Jordan is obsessed with a girl that doesn't want him, Jon is a simp for a girl that through him under the bus and should of got in trouble.
I did Lana never cheated on Clark. She was tired of him lying and in doing so sought answers for herself and that's why in season 6 before her wedding with lex she set up something and found out Clark got powers.
Sarah is not her mother...her knowing the truth about the superfamily does not mean she will stay with Jordan and love him the way he loves her...they are teenagers..this is obvious she does not share the feeling
or that the bond has not developed that far yet. Even on Jordan's side, its more passion than anything of real depth which takes time and experiences together to develop.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens who knows once he explains why he couldn’t tell her she will understand and she and Jordan will be back together the main problem is that she is tried of all the secrets and lies which kinda does make sense after secrets and lies don’t always end well
@@micahfranklin4560 idk the show has done a lot in the first part of the season to make the viewers not really like Sara. I get teenagers are emotional and they are doing a great way showing that for both Jordan and Sarah. I do hope they kind of realize that they have a toxic relationship. This is on both of them. Sara doesn’t know what she wants and rationalized cheating on Jordan and Jordan is way to emotional and caught up in the idea of your first love. Both of these characters feel very real props to the writers but that doesn’t mean I don’t see this relationship for as toxic as it is.
@@DUBS606 The relationship started good but the writers put a hammer on it. Sarah's character is being written badly by writers, she always has issues and never sees her faults Jordan has his issues but it could have worked but the writers make them toxic for drama but the drama could have been written in a better way. 95% of fans hate Sarah character this season because of writers. People have ideas that all first love don't work especially at 15 age but there are people in the world who met at 15 and are still together. The writer can correct the toxic level in a relationship but they like drama and fans hating on Sarah and Jordan just so fans people talk about the show is ridiculous. Not because you are 15 yrs some behaviour must be excuse and say you are a young, their young person who behaves differently at the as same age. I Hate CW shows because always make couples toxic for drama. Sarah has no purpose than Joran girl on the show, so expect them to do something to fix it.
Maybe I'm recalling something wrong here, but considering what happened in the Smallville show, it's good to know not only are Clark & Lana are on good terms but Clark trusts her enough to reveal not only his secret but his family secret.
Different universes, though. This is supposedly Earth-Prime in the post-crisis multiverse, and the Smallville TV series was Earth-167 in the pre-crisis multiverse.
True, but keep in mind, Clark came out to Lana in Season 6 of Smallville, even though she knew a little of it. Originally he was going to come out to her in Season 5, but she died in a car accident, due to Lex chasing her, so Clark had to go back in time and not tell her until the following season.
@@kyonguyen4556 And it's a shame that Jordan doesn't fully understand the gravity of the situation as well. Telling a secret as big as that can also carry a lot of baggage, and that's not something Sarah is ready to handle.
Idk the way Lois starts with “absolutely -“ and then gets cut off by the boys almost makes it sound like she was going to be against it and then was kind of outvoted. Don’t know if I’m reading to much into it but yeah, don’t know if this will be some kind of contention later, especially since they basically gave Lana just as stunning of reveal scene as they have Lois and the boys in season 1
Nah, thought that at first, too, but she says it with a slight smile on her face and looks kinda proud and relieved after. the more times I've watched that scene, I realized "absolutely" was all she wanted to say. her and Clark have great communication, he would've noticed if she was against it, but he was surprised that his entire family - including Lous - wouldn't even let him finish the question before agreeing with it
if you listen carefully, she's not cut off. yes, Jordan talks over her words. However, she is not interrupting herself but finishes her sentence. it's about voice melody and the way she said "absolutely" would've been different if she had planned to add another word to that
@@LouisaMarit I can see both ways. And this coming off right after how she’s against Jordan revealing the secret to Sara ( which is justified because the boy is just hoping that will make Sara stay) makes it sound a bit off. The way the audio is cut is just off. I do think Jordan’s words of them not being as close as they thought may affect her now that the secret is leaving the inner circle of the family now. But we will see.
This is why I like stargirl because in that show it’s very well written and the teenagers also adults really understand the whole secret identity, and after learning their lessons they really get how it works something I wish that the Arrowverse did or other superhero projects for marvel, DC etc.
They haven’t fully learned their lesson yet though. Sure you can say Tal Roh was an eye opener but they haven’t learned the hard way of trusting the wrong people yet. It’s understandable why they are inexperience. Not to mention this only became their secret about a year ago, maybe less. It takes time for them to fully understand the gravity. The boys haven’t truly lost anything yet because of the secret except maybe Jordan but the secret isn’t the whole reason why they ended like how it was with Clark and Lana in the Smallville show.
With the time dilation happening somewhere in the portal/void/Bizarro world, when they go back it’s probably gonna be crazy! Ally will probably have been ruling for a while! 😬😬😬
plus loved ending Clark telling his former girlfriend and best friend who he is clark looked so nervous i still cant believe he did it and look on her face just like other priceless lets hope Lana understands and what means for him being superman to world yes he lied to her whole life he just protect Lana incase world found out she be in dark as well and any threats may come so Lana not in harms way
Lana, you might as well head on over to the Kent farm. By this time of day Lois should already have a bottle of red wine open. The two of you can get drunk and commiserate over the shame of having never figured out that Clark and Superman look and sound *exactly* alike.
I have a nagging feeling that Lois wanted to say emphatically "Absolutely NOT!!!" but she was interjected by Jordan's answer after saying only her first word, and Clark was too engrossed with the pending announcement that he simply assumed that since both his sons agreed, then Lois' "Absolutely!" was a staunch support?
She was against their doing it on their own backs, Clark came to all of them and asked first. It doesn't have to be the end result she was against merely the means, they where going to make the choice for all of them.
I feel like this was more about being a united front as partners. it's not her secret. As Clark's partner it's hers to keep but not hers to expose. And since she is 100% supporting him in his decisions, as long as he didn't want to tell anyone, she was just as keen on keeping it a secret as well. But I feel like with everything that went down and especially Lana's involvement with Edge and the final battle last season and then again this episode, it's been hard for her, too, to get closer to Lana but keep that part of her life hidden. And I thought she was cut off at first, too, but then I rewatched the scene a couple of times and with her mimic and all I'm convinced she genuinely agreed
I for one as much as I loved this scene & found it beautiful & for a small moment made me ship Lana & Clark as a couple, I think it was the wrong choice. I'm thinking about when Clark was telling Jordan that is Sarah told just one person their family would be compromised. Well Lana is the mayor. Suppose when it comes to protecting the city it means being forced into revealing Clark is superman. I mean I get why the show decided to tell Lana first to have Sarah find out that would mean lying to her mother that would've been so much pressure.
Its weird because on Smallville I could not stand Lana with all her whining and betrayal she always did even though she was hot. But this Lana I freaking love and I think I'm ok for rooting for Clana on this show even though I love this Lois as well. Also can we go back to crisis and just wipe both boys out because god damn they always crying about something.

i get it why boys want Clark tell Lana his secret if she knew from start she prob be more aware what was going on but for Jordan it be chance clear air with Sarah about everything since first season when they were friends Jordan had lie to Sarah all time and were times she almost gave up on him and thanks to his brother most of time helping with Sarah with lies even if doesn't bring her back to him i think should stay friends like in season one and hoping Sarah understands and be helping keep his secret i don't think Sarah would open her mouth but Sarah still pretty pissed at him for secrets and lies reason they broke up and i don't think Jordan go alone tel sarah his mom and his brother Jonathan should be there help him tell Sarah his secret so incase she thinks Jordan lie her yet again and show how hard was keeping his secret from her.
Could have just opened his shirt.....Just sayin maybe an open public display of powers might not be the brightest idea with cameras and phones now a days....
It's Smallville. There's probably 2 people in the entire town that know what a camera is. (I'm exaggerating obviously: but I'm pretty sure Clark would be able to tell if anyone else was around.)
So am I that’s why I like stargirl because in that show it’s very well written and the teenagers also adults really understand the whole secret identity, and after learning their lessons they really get how it works something I wish that the Arrowverse did or other superhero projects for marvel, DC etc.
@@gilbertmillers4865 that’s definitely something they need to do here. Cause you can tell at the end Jordan being all supportive of Clark telling Lana is so he can use it as an excuse to tell Sarah.

So it took this Lana twices as long as smallville Lana to discover his secret. Maybe Jordan can finally be open with Sara now. I know he wanted to tell her but his dad said no.
I want to see the aftermath of this. I mean the questions, is your son's like you. Truth be told I would have kept my mouth shut. I remember Smallville and the time he told Pete and the world where he told everyone. In addition Jordan stop being so emotional seriously. You are 15 or 16 get toned and have fun.
Jordan needs to… Hw needs too…. Also am I the only one who feels like Sarah basically gaslighted Jordan after returning from camp. Like yeah he is not going to be thrilled to have lunch with a person you cheated with.
I can't wait to see how Lana reacts and I'm really hoping that this means that Jordan will finally be allowed to tell Sarah and hopefully they'll be back together really soon
I think there's still a difference to Sarah and Lana because Clark has known Lana for probably 20 years and they have a stable, solid friendship now. Jordan and Sarah don't have that foundation yet
That's been always been the hardest part to buy in about the Superman mythos for decades. They even made fun of it when Teri Hatcher hosted SNL in the 90's.
And yet when he took the glasses off, she was still confused until he actually started flying. Clarks glasses aren't a "disguise" in the traditional sense: it's just a distraction so no-one thinks too hard that the guy with glasses might be Superman.
@@micahfranklin4560 that’s why Jordan needs to be honest with her. If he wants to be in a relationship with her, it’s time to grow up and tell the truth.
To be honest this is exactly what Stargirl does better than Superman & Lois the people on Earth-2 teenagers and adults equally understand the whole secret identity thing, where as in the Arrowverse no one ever does! Ugh 😑
