There were people who tried to match one particular car, so they said after they didn't win the bonus round. IN general, such people didn't win. The 2/1/1991 episode had someone trying to win the Wrangler with 55 seconds on the clock and it was won in 35.
75 seconds has to a record for time allotted to win a car in this round. This is from 1987 I believe, where contestants didn't have their own clock(from Summer 1990-Summer 1991, a new contestant always started with 35 seconds)
This is beyond an epic fail. Oh, and for the record, here were the cars that she was ATTEMPTING to win...Dodge Daytona, Volkswagen Golf, Mercury Topaz, Chevrolet Spectrum, Toyota Corolla, Subaru DL, Jeep Cherokee, Pontiac LeMans.
No it's not I just saw one where the contestants literally did 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15. No lie. Its because he is so flirtatious with the contestants that they can't think straight it sick cuz he is flirting with married woman

Jeez, how did this dope manage to win the main game matches as well as solve a rebus?? Perhaps she was so comfortable with 70 seconds on the clock that she got lazy and didn't bother actually absorbing what was behind the squares .. but still :p

At the rate of failure, the next episode probably had them go straight go to the car round, just like Gene and Alex said.. I mean, 75 seconds the next episode! I could've done it in the minimum 35..
