Every two months, the left side starts to get a buildup if this white? It clogs the wheel so it is no longer efficient and the afternoons are warm inside. so you have to clean the wheel. I am a pest control tech, not an hvac tech. Having to take it apart 4 to 6 times a year and the plastic being pretty cheap, I am already having problem with the louver the swings the air vent.
I am having buyers remorse in only a year and a half of owning this thing.

What you should have said was thanks MIDEA mrcool and many other mini split systems are made by MIDEA. They are all part of the same shell game.

Not to sound negative, but is there something else going with your unit, or some other environmental concern causing that much buildup? Is the filter screen not in place? I have six Mr Cool air handlers in my home (two compressors outside) and we have no issues like that, nor in all my research leading up to purchasing them have I heard of that sort of impeding buildup.

This is normal if you dont remove the fan blade and clean it. or the coils. That brush isnt going to do a thing

This is how our blower fan is even after cleaning the filters every two weeks. Just take the metal grille off and spray the wheel with coil cleaner. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then spray the gunk off. Use a ductless cleaning kit that wraps around your unit so that all the water and gunk drains down into a bucket. Otherwise you will have a huge mess.

@@bleejis_krilbin The blower wheel has to come out.

@@brockbrawn1524 Yeah, it's best to fully clean it outside of the housing but it's so insanely difficult to get it out - especially if it gets that dirty every two months. You can clean it well enough with it still in the housing.

@@bleejis_krilbinless than 5 minutes to remove. It’s literally 5 screws and one plug.

It literally takes less than 5 minutes to completely remove the blower wheel from the unit. Once removed you can easily clean it so it looks like new. It’s so easy, I take mine apart every 3 months to clean it. The way it’s done in this video looks like a nightmare.

They aren't removable without taking the entire thing off. I have one and it's a legit pain in the ass.

Mine has a set screw that you can't acess without drilli g through the plastic. So far am disappointed with mr cool

@@cj-sp8ed after watching this video, I've gotten in the habit of proactively blowing out my Mr Cool blower fan with an air gun attachment in an attempt to keep it clean so I don't have to take it apart later. At least I'm hoping.

@@miles267 funny you should say that I literally just bought an air gun from harbor freight to do the same thing. This should work, another thing to do is run a medium sized air purifier, I had rather clean that as opposed to the mini split
