Using a TL10 track loader to clean up a small house that collapsed and load it into dumpsters. Unlisted video covering that well better: • Covering that well better
I hope this channel never changes. Obviously, I wish that his business thrives and he grows with it, seems like he has no problem there. But it’s just 100% pure content and is so enjoyable to watch!
He probably makes more money from filming the job than the customer pays him for doing the job. He might be able to do jobs for free and make more money
Whenever I see a house come down, I think about all the memories that someone has, the joys, struggles, good times, even bad times... An old home saw it all.. everything in life... in all its aspects. Shelter and warmth, refuge from the elements. Now its gone.. a clean slate.. and as the people that lived there die off, all just evaporates to the winds of time.
Doesn’t matter what season it is. Always excited to watch his videos. Plowing, mowing grass, riding his boat, jet skiing, fixing equipment, working on his truck or house, buying new or used equipment, trucks, always something exciting. You learn something every time.
This world needs more young hard working people like you. The passion and ambition you give in everything you do is unbeliaveble. All the best from Bulgaria.
I would say you might be optimistic about how new it was. In the twenties it might have been 30 years old already, but your right about the young couple. Remember we didn't live that long back then on the average. Mid 40's for the most part.
@@johnmaddox7432 I've heard that about people not living long 100 years ago. Every old cemetery I've been to seems to provide evidence that if you could make it to 5 years old, you would live into your 70's or more.
John Bush, isn't he just the best - thoughtful, considerate, hard working - all the positive attributes there are in a human!! God bless Andrew & you!! 😊
@@eriklarson9137 // "Well" Fauci said: you'll be safe, but now you need 2 masks to be safe. No, that's only if it's the right kind of mask AND if you're inside. No, now he's saying we're safe w/o a mask if you've been vaccinated. No, that was yesterday, today it's with a mask, and the vaccine. Nope; he just said the vaccine, and the booster, AND a mask....until tomorrow when it's.... Gee Wally, I wonder why they keep asking: *"why don't ppl trust us?"*
Andrew is just mesmerising to watch no matter how many times you watch his video’s he just makes it so interesting, you learn something different each time ,he certainly is a hard working lad and seems to achieved so much .keep achieving Andrew!!!!!!!!!!!👍🇬🇧😉
Pay attention kids. This is how you get ahead in life!! If you want something, go out there and earn it, like this fine young man is doing and not out in the streets destroying city’s complaining how horrible the country is, how much you think the government owes you and how hard done by you are. The world needs more young people like Andrew.. Thank you Andrew for restoring my faith in your generation. Keep up the great work and vids. 👍👍
I am sure the skid steer with tracks and the attachments are not cheap but they save time. What is most impressive is Andrew’s skill and his through cleanup of the property. Great work ethic! I wish Dad were alive to see these videos!
Bought a track loader for my farm instead of a more typical 4 wheel tractor. Really enjoying it - very versatile, fun to use, and good in all kinds of environments.
Wow! That was so fascinating! I had no idea that little machine could do all that! I don’t know how I came across your videos, but this 50 year old women will definitely be watching some more! That was so awesome! Good work!😎👍🏽
I get so psyched when I see a new AC video out--I stop what I am doing, brew a cup of java and sit down for another ADVENTURE!!!!!!! Keep em coming Andrew!! ;-)
Andrew you are the best teacher and friend to us all. I am 74 and live back in the mountains. My 763 Bobcat is the only way I can live where I do. Your instructions have made me a much better operator. Thank you so much!
Great project professionally completed ! From Nova Scotia and cannot get over the lush vegetation and green trees in your drone shots. Always pictured New York State to be mainly concrete & steel . A real eye opener . Always learn something from each video that you post, Andrew. 👍
Seriously, who really cares if he makes his money because of us watching his videos or because of the jobs he gets or BOTH... He is working his butt off in both cases to do the job and to edit all those videos, so I say: keep those videos coming because it means you have money coming in AND we can see you buy new stuff and use it. Thanks Andrew for all the vids. Keep up the good work!
@@kobelcofan Careful there. RU-vid doesnt pay anywhere near as well as it used to. Since he doesnt play the promotion and affiliate link all that much.....
This is why it's dangerous to go walking in the woods. It might have been someone's home with a dug well or root cellar even a mine vent. In the middle of nowhere Appalachian Mountains things can go bad real quick if you're not familiar with the area
I've never seen one out in the woods that actually had water and most are very shallow but could still be dangerous. So can privys now that I mention it. There are some cool old ones with brick Insides; those are neat.
Nice job! Most contractors don’t separate the demo from the dirt and concrete. Most don’t drag the dumpster with a chain. Most overload the container and the truck driver has to deal with it.
When I was 15 I worked for my neighbor who has a construction business. First day on the job I was told to get the saws all and organize the dumpster. They wanted as much in that dumpster as possible without going over the top. Then a long time employee stopped and asked me a question which later I was told by the Forman i was not to talk that much and was waisting time, ON MY FIRST DAY!. Haha great times! I don’t regret it or have hard feelings about any of it
Absolutely love your videos and one thing that really impresses me is that you clean up the site so well at the end of the job. That is something that sets you apart. If only all contractors went the extra mile the world would be a nicer place in all senses of the word. Thank you for providing me with really enjoyable videos.
Yeah, that roof heard Andy was coming and just let go yesterday. Loved the axe restoration video. I think replicating the rivet heads was the worst part.
It’s only a matter of hours before Andrew gets 6 figure views. Now almost a million subscribers. I remember when he was hawking parts of a warn out excavator track on eBay. I have one hanging in the garage. Keep it up Andrew, YOU ROCK!
I love watching Andrew taking down old buildings! Back in the day when I was a little girl [I’m talking the 1940s] my Dad would take me to many building demolitions, but I was so small I had to seat on his shoulders to see anything. We were always scooted back for our own safety, so I could hardly see much of what was going on. But here! I can sit back in my easy chair and watch Andrew on my very large monitor! It feels like I am right there riding alongside Andrew in his cool machine! Thank you young man for ALL you great videos. 😍
My daddy used to clean up rental properties after the tenants had left (usually in the middle of the night and after not paying their rent). Picture this; a family of feral goats stuck in a house for 6 weeks, with bales of hay and the taps left running. It was deliberately done by someone after they had a disagreement with the landlord. Dad said that was the worst because by the time the real estate agent / property manager went to see what was going on the goats had eaten the hay, the wallpaper, carpets and curtains, had pooped everywhere and broken alot of windows, hurt themselves, etc. Thankfully goats were "rescued" by someone who had a blackberry problem along the creeks that flowed thru their property so the goats got a new home for life. The house had to have all the poop removed then it was gutted and in the end they rebuilt a completely new house because so much was damaged. Blessings from South Eastern Australia, Dot
Nicely done. You were at the upper limit of your machine but it certainly did the job. The evolution of the skid steer style machine has come a long way. Thank you for a good video!
It might get old fast, but it sure must be fun every once in a while to have a demolition job. I'm astounded at how much power and weight that skid-steer has. To be able to pick up 20' long tree trunk by one end and not tip the loader is impressive.
So glad you covered the well! Make sure you tell others; property owners, etc. Seriously, it needs to be properly covered and sealed. Remember Baby Jessica! Getting off my soap box, now.
This is quality content. Thank you. This channel made me appreciate the old men standing around building sites and just watching progress get made. Most youtubers would have made this 90% fluff and hype about tearing down a haunted mansion. Any updates on the hot tub/cave project?
Andrew I love you videos so much. They help me if I am upset they make me happy. You make me feel I can do anything if I try hard enough. And I think you are why I wanna get into construction in the future.
Andrew, I 'bout pushed the back of my couch off helping you pull up that slate!! I hope you see this - no big deal if you don't, 'cause you know this already, but you are truly AMAZING 💖 🌟👍👏
It's always a bit sad to see old houses demolished even when they are beyond repair. I imagine the the hopes and dreams of the folk that built them at considerable cost and wonder about what happened. Good Video.
This is the first video of yours I've watched. All around excellent work, and I mean that it is work the way it should be done. The demolition was great and the videography was outstanding. I used to do some demolition on a smaller scale and with hand tools, curbside trash cans and one good friend. That was thirty eight years ago and the neighbors called us the Swedish Tractors.
Excavator, excavator, nah skid steer 😂 this is why Andrew is the best at this stuff he’s doing it out of pure fun and gets the best angles in his videos💯
Been a subscriber for several years now and just want to say thanks for all your vids and hard work. I learn a lot from you and now my 13 month old son loves to sit in my lap and make "broom broom" noises while watching. Now that i finally have my dream property, my next dream/goal is to start accumulating and learning how to use machinery and start a business to hand down to my kids.
Nice work .... I love that TL10 . I spent about 5 hours on mine today . Those old houses used to be someones homestead . Probably several generations of good people .
Hey man I just wanna say I been subscribed for a long time now and you really thought me a lot here and I wanna say thanks for that I’m going start construction after I graduate this year and I plan to start a business one day
Mechanic, You probably took economics in high school. Did the teacher ever talk about taxes? That will be the biggest line in your budget. Be prepared for government hell. ¹
@@JerichoRally In the past business years, I remember when the federal government couldn't keep depreciation schedules straight on equipment. It was difficult to plan business costs. Pardner, it was a nightmare for me. My biggest taxes were employee social security and sales tax. That big car being driven is a business nightmare. Don't think the IRS won't ask questions. I also owned laundromats. The IRS knows how much water, gas, and electric one uses and can figure the income from the business.
@@marcryvon make no misunderstanding, I would have stuffed that old thing in a dumpster also but what I said stands. If the roof doesn't leak nothing rots. Did you notice the cedar shakes still looked good?
@@Wakeywhodat If someone doesn’t have a use for the indoors space and prefers to have a clean outdoors area, then it would still be up for demo even if it was looking good
You've become a real champion navigating that drone, Andrew - it's a great fit to highlight the work you do, and it adds a kind of "Hollywood Movie" aspect to your videos. I like it!
After watching the claw demolishing the house, a thought came to mind. What would your new tree shredder attachment do to a house?🤔😆😆 Now that might be fun. Love the ratchet/geared tie downs for the skid steer. Amazing how much cordless tools has influenced the accessory industry. Those tie downs are not complicated, just a small gearbox. Could have used the old corder drill motor many years ago just as easily. But the cordless has made everything more mobile and agile. Always excited to see what new toys you get to expand your business. Love the videos, Andrew. Awesome!!
It’s amazing to me how hard it is to create something and how easy it is to destroy it. It probably took months to build that house back whenever, and took only one day to completely erase all those efforts.
Cool drone intro and outro! Would love to see a bit more of the mountains around your place! I grew up in the Appalachia’s in West Virginia....miss those mountains and rivers and ponds and forests!
You have to admire Andrew's work ethic. I bet he has a new TV still in it's box. Not someone you'd expect to see sat on the sofa resting when there's work to be done. The best youtube channel in the world. Honest BS free grafter
Andrew, That was some pretty dam good drone piloting through the trees at the beginning of the video! Nice demolition and cleanup/bury. Definitely would have the property owner make good use of that old well.
Thank you for all your videos, they are very instructive, always something to learn! For your health, please wear gloves while working outside, specially if you are in a demolition job.
It depends on the job you are doing but sometimes gloves can actually stop you from being safe. Things you are lifting can become more slippery with gloves causing a loss of grip and if you drop it, it causes more damage than if you knock some skin off. I have helped with storm damage cleanup for 25 years as a NSW SES Volunteer) and would rather have a finger needing a bandaid than wear gloves and drop something on my foot. Choosing carefully when to use gloves is something you learn as you go. My dad is an expert chainsaw handler (since he was 10 years old) and could never get gloves big enough to fit his hands to wear while cutting firewood or doing anything outdoors (his Scottish ancestry is to blame). He said the biggest lesson he learnt was to look where he was going to stick his hand and pause to take a second look. We live in South Eastern Australia and have to watch for venomous snakes and spiders besides the obvious things such as sharp edges, nettles or thistles, splinters, nails, etc. There are also a few other animals like possums or blue tongue lizards that are willing to take a chunk out of you if you stick your hand too close to them. Our local possums are bigger than a large house at and are usually quick to let you know if you are too close. Blessings, Dot
