I discovered you when researching for a Sonic article I was writing in preparation for Generations' release about the best 2D levels. But I had never played Sonic CD. So I did a search for a Let's Play, found your playthrough and ended up really enjoying your commentary. The fact that you were releasing weekly videos while I was stuck at work meant I had guaranteed entertainment while I caught up with your backlog. i first started watching him in 2010 when i was 4 with his mega man videos i'm in 7th grade now still watching him still to this day he feels like family and every time i watch his vids an feelings comes into my heart from the memories i had watching him when i was just an lad
Rene Gual I know I actually started watching all the way back when he did his MegaMan 3 lp (back then I didn't have a account) I saw his wrestlegamia videos, I saw his SOTN lp, hell I'm trying to catch up on watching his videos while looking for a job and making my own videos. I love every bit of his content. Which makes me shocked people would prefer PewDiePie, who I never gave two shits about. Yes we've had RU-vidr's that last for a long time but clement and somecallmejohnny are possibly the two bastions of the old days of RU-vid (06-08)....wow I feel old

Yeah, I gotta agree, that moment with Team Dark in Sonic 06 was probably my favorite part. It was one of the few times the stories didn't feel stupid. It honestly made you happy to say 'I'm a Sonic fan and have stuck with these characters since the Genesis.' All that buildup from Adventure 2 led to that point where you could honestly say Shadow, Rogue, and Omega were tighter-knit than the main trio. Thank you, Sonic 06. Now go back to being terrible.
So many different RU-vidrs I've watched over the years I've just lost interest in, but Clement, the first one I ever watched, just keeps getting better and better.
I still remember, finding Clement just because I was looking up sonic playthroughs and he was the one with the most popular CD video, the little egg planet, and I think that's what led to me finding out about BSC and then Johnny. As for Clement himself, it's been great following you. I think I got on right after sonic 3. Also. I recently played mystical ninja for the first time. Was harder than it looks, but I did really love it. It's been a while since BJ was in a lets play. I understand he has his own life so it's not like he needs to be in, but I'm kinda curious if he and Clement are still friends. Oh my god the mario Wii dickery. While I didn't really start using youtube until 2013 you're one of the first subscribers I subbed to me being a huge fan of the megaman series and the sonic series. Of course, your other content is fun and hilarious as well. Anyhoo, congrats on 10 years and here's to what will happen in the next 10.
I wasn't using RU-vid right when Clement started either, but I too was instantly hooked on all of his megaman and sonic videos. I would watch one after the other during my sophomore year in high school, when I'd be bored and needed some comfort and joy and Clement did that for me, he was one of the first I subbed to when I made my account finally. He definitely deserves much praise

I've been watching this guy in 2014 when I was in highschool during summer break then I binged somecallmejohnny. I been outta school for three years and been working all the time trying to get time to watch clement, and somecallmejohnny two of my personal favorite youtubers. I think the first LP I watched from this channel was Mega Man the Wily Wars and wow, I was like, 12 at the time. I'm 21 now. In 2015 I was diagnosed with depression, when the Mega Man Legends 2 LP was still ongoing and I stopped watching Clement only to return now, in 2019. Time fucking flies, man. Back then I was still a huge Sonic fan but now I can't stand seeing him, but on the other hand, I was introduced to a whole new genre, First Person Shooters, it was a fair trade, I think. Anyway, the Mega Man LPs were always great, fond memories of those, and the Banjo-Kazooie and Pac-Man World LPs were my introduction to these two games, I even used them as a guide, and I'm glad I got to play them. I remember all the way back when I had played my first ever Mega Man game, Mega Man 9, and I wanted to see other people play Mega Man games and found your channel. Fun commentary, good gameplay, your channel had everything I could ever want! And with consistent uploads, I said to myself "The Great Clement is worth watching." And here we are, 10 years later. I remember finding your channel after watching BSC Sonic Generations commentary (which also led me to discover the human hyena known as Gareth "FTA") and just really enjoying the way you just casually talked about two of my favorite game franchises. 2012 and 2013 were both 2 rough years for me and it may sound cliche but thanks to your videos I was able to pull through. I remember coming across your channel back in 2010 while I was looking for the Megaman X6 soundtrack and found your Let's Play on it. I found your commentary hilarious and completely honest as you went through each stage. Afterwards I watched each one of your Let's Plays and enjoyed the how you would break everything down and describe the details of the games or talk about how wonderful the soundtrack was for it (since I'm a big fan of most if not all game music). It's been a real privilege to watch your channel grow and be entertained each time you do a Let's Play, or be taken back in time when you reminisce on Final Fantasy (you hit me right in the feels with FF6). You were practically part of my childhood as an 11-12 year old. Now I'm 17 (almost 18) and just graduated from High School...like damn time really did went by fast. I started watching your videos around 2010. The LP that I first started watching was your Sonic 3 & Knuckles run, specifically just the Knuckles run because at the time, I was really into watching people do let's plays and had just finished watching CyberShell's Sonic 3 LP, but he didn't do a Knuckles run and so I just searched youtube for just a Knuckles run of the game and yours was the first one that I came across. I really enjoyed the commentary of your Knuckles run and decided to go and watch literally every single one of your Sonic LP's at that point (and all your Mega Man LP's while I was at it as well, along with any other LP that caught my interest). Still a fan of yours to this day, and congrats on keeping this channel going strong even after 10 years!
