@Tesla-Effect Boom Clement just does whatever he feels like. Baby Clement is... Baby Clement, and Movie Clement is getting a character redesign to look cooler.
Clement: _gets a girlfriend through his Sonic playthroughs_ The Sonic Movie: _is due on the 14th of February_ Me: *Oh yeah, it's all coming together now*
And guess what? The Sonic movie did absolutely ASTRONOMICAL! Everyone can't gush out praise for it fast enough! It broke the tradition of movies based on video games sucking horribly! A tradition that Nintendo is still having trouble breaking free from! *Cough* Super Mario Bros. *Cough* Sega truly does what NintenDON'T!
@@OfficialBulldozerStudios Meh, I thought Prince of Persia wasn't all that bad. Or the detective pikachu movie either. This video game movie thing isn't as ironclad as you would thing. Heck even Rampage was okay for a monster B-movie.
@@Cosplaythief Well, I guess I've only been looking at bad examples of movies based on video games. God knows that Super Mario Bros movie was just atrocious...
Clement: this is the end of the sonic retrospective Sega: Ayo We got a new game coming out next year and we reverted back to the adventure formula Clement: Say Sike Right Now
I would like for the Halo 3 reference, but your comment has 69 likes and I don't want to ruin it. 3/24/20 Edit: Well, not like I can ruin it now anyway, since someone else has broken the holy number.
Me: *flips The Great Clement out of bed with him in it* Clement: *groans* Me: Clement, Sonic 30th anniversary happened and something was teased. FRONT AND CENTER DR. EGGMAN'S ORDERS.
@@kylecampbell565 yep classic x zero zx and legends is completed the only mega man games he needs to do is x command mission battle network and star forces that's it
When Clement started his Sonic Retrospective, here's what happened in 2010: - Hatsune Miku did her first super major concert in Tokyo - Pokemon Black and White was released in Japan - Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver was released in the US and Europe - Super Mario Galaxy 2 was released - Vancouver 2010 Olympics - Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world opens ...Just to name a few.
Sonic Colours came out Mario turned 25 Sonic And SEGA All Stars Racing came out Roger Craig Smith and Co. joined Studiopolis Inc Cobanermani456 joined RU-vid My cousin was born in the same month. I turned 9 Might remember a few more in the future
Yeah, I never got why people focus so much on the bad parts of Sonic. Even the fandom wasn't the first nor the last to garner a reputation of being wierd but people to this day are obsessed with it.
Thank you for briefly having me aboard for the Sonic Unleashed LP, Clement. It was... sheesh, how many years ago, now? Yet I remember it like it was yesterday. Loads of fun. Thanks again for all the laughs.
I also got into watching Clement because of his Sonic '06 review (and later Johnny, BrainStratchComm, and just about anyone who talks about Sonic- both good and bad). I look back at that review at times now having a mixex bag of emotions. On one hand, I'm glad I found it (thanks to the video recommendations) & was entertained by it. I laughed my ass off!😂 On the other hand, I wished I had worked my way up to those videos- starting with "good" Sonic review/lp videos. But, I enjoyed this crazy ride with Clement. Can't wait for the next journey.
What letsplays did you guys start watching the great clement from? I started watching Clement from his megaman letsplays but branched off into his sonic letsplays which I find really relaxing and funny (especially that goddamn eggman doll XD) Here's to more great stuff from the great clement! 😎
Clement: Finally, I have played them all, my worries are now over... SEGA: Ay yo 🅱 new Sonic game out! Check this out Clement: Allo-a it is I the great Clement-
Eggman Plush: SON OF A BITCH! I can't believe that the Great Clement finished the Sonic Retrospective! Now there's going to be some time until the next Sonic game! Maybe I should go on vacation.
Yeah they're so fun. Spinball has an amazing soundtrack and fun secrets to explore, it's a really amazing pinball game right up there with Devil Crash Md in my opinion
This truly has been the end of an era. Thank for you going through every single game, the good and the bad. It’s been refreshing seeing someone actually be positive about the series over the years despite the many ups and downs. My first ever video game was sonic 1 on genesis when I was 5 years old, so like you I’ve been a fan for a while.
The Great Clement, you’ve been one of the constants in my life crazily enough. This retrospective has given me hours of entertainment throughout dark times and good ones. Thank you! Look forward to all the future LPs!
Clement, thanks for being such a fun, lovable, goofy dude. It's been a pleasure to watch this journey every step of the way. Hope the future is bright, and keep on gaming!
Clement, you call yourself an amateur, but to me you're like... the best Let's Player on RU-vid, along with Chuggaaconroy. You make an effort to show everything in the game, even if it means you doing multiple playthroughs, you do research about the games you're playing, you're funny, and one of my favorite things is you always have such a mature view on Sonic games. You don't hate on games just because they're different.
I'd love to see a video essay defending SA2, after 100% it I really appreciated it and went from being on the fence to joining the side who love it. But please take a break from Sonic, you deserve it after this retrospective.
It's not just Flicky. Decap Attack, Shinobi: Shadow Dancer, and Fatal Labyrinth aren't allowed over in Germany. I'm not sure what the reason behind not allowing these games over in Germany are.
Probably just because they were seen as "too brutal" at the time. Sega could ask the USK to rate the game again and they would instantly make it legal to be sold by they don't really bother. Happened with other stuff as well.
May not be a pro RU-vidr but clement you've always been one of my favorites no matter the game or the seires I've loved this and will continue to love this little part of my life
To be perfectly honest, I would’ve never have subbed to any other you tubers like SomecallmeJohnny, hellfire, brainscratch, etc. without finding clement. I started watching clement when I finally found a SA2 let’s play back in 2011 that was in good quality. I stayed and bunged watched it the same day and checked out that he had more sonic games to offer and more. I’d say about a week goes by I’ve seen SomecallmeJohnny drop a review and then it snowballed from there. So all I can say clement is thank you for tackling all sonic games
I’ve been watching this retrospective since 2013 and that was when I first found your channel. Love the ending to this video with It doesn’t matter SA2.
This has been a great journey! I'm glad I was able to experience this journey. I can't wait for what is next! Thanks so much for sharing your retrospective of Sonic!
I can't believe I've been following your let's plays since the SA2 one, loved every other let's play before and every one after as well. Happy 2020 to you Clement, here's to another decade of inevitable Sonic games :)
Thank you for all the memories Clement. I was in middle school when the retrospective started and it was your videos that got me back into Sonic and well, helped me through life in general. Now here I am, a college bound boy. Thanks for everything, Clement. ✌
It's something really cathartic to see this finally come to an end. Whatever is next I will definitely stay with you to the end. I watched from your earliest of videos and won't stop now!
I yes, your Infamous sitting through yet truly popular video wheelie back and I envy you on surviving that horrid game awhile back. Also Happy 2020 and thank you for still entertaning us for many years Clement, my boy!
This is really an end of an era. This retrospective has been with me since I was 13 or so. Thank you so much for the memories Clement. Onwards and upwards
Thank you Clement!!! I always watch your sonic videos when I was younger. Basically, you built my childhood and it was a surreal experience!! Congrats on finishing this long retrospective and more power to you!
Been here since 2012. Thank you very much for your service to the series and to shaping my childhood! Live your best life, I’ll be around for whatever you’ve got next!
Never imagined you finally reaching the end of the retrospective so soon. Even after playing Mania and Forces. I must say congrats to dude and hope the future of the series will become a bright one again.
One of my favorite content creators! And it's okay to be uncomfortable with your past jokes/behavior, times were different and we all had room to learn and grow. Keep doing your thing, Clement!
These 10 years were incredible, shit i'm in college now and i've been watching you since I can remember back since adventure 1. Thank you for the endless hours of entertainment and I will continue to watch whatever is next in store!
I was in 3rd grade when I started watching this retrospective. I’m now about to finish high school. Thanks for the memories and for making me the sonic fan I am.
Thank you for this brilliant retrospective clement. It was nice to grow up watching someone have the same love for sonic I had. You and this retrospective have been a nice constant in my life. It’s nice to see a sonic fan that shows his love for the series on his sleeve. The final part showing sonic’s highlights got me tearing up a bit. Also I’m so glad you gave sonic riders the attention it deserves
Thank you sincerely Clement for the Sonic retrospective. Been watching since the very beginning, and I'm choosing to be in denial that it's been 10 years, but I've enjoyed watching every step of the way.
I was watching this incredibly long series since I was in high school. I am happy to have watched your series and seen your changes over the decade. Keep it up with whatever you do for the next games, if you do anything else.
Yo man, I cant believe it got to this point. I may not have always been there but I'm glad to have been following for this long and to finally see this moment. I wish you good luck on your future endeavors and thank you for the moments and entertaiment you provided
What a journey this has been. Seriously is the best Sonic related RU-vidr thing to ever come out of existence and your let’s play’s and determination for every game (except that one...) was just such a wild and fun ride to go on.
Wow, I can't believe it's actually finished. I watched this retrospective since 2011 and always looked forward to new videos. Thanks for the decade of memories Clement!
I’ve been watching this retrospective since the beginning. Clement, you were LITERALLY my childhood. You helped me get into this series as a kid and I still love this series as the very stressed out adult I’ve grown to become. Thank you for all the years of good times and laughs when those were very hard to find.
Idea! Instead of sonic the hedgehog, from now on, Sega in general. I'm talking warhammer, alpha protocol, the yakuza series, and more! Instead of the sonic retrospective, call it the Sega retrospective. Just an idea to consider.
It’s been awesome to watch you go through these games. I’ve started watching your videos around 2013 and i still do to this day! I’m looking foreword for whats to come
