I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and RU-vidr who's been to 61 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017.
I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This marked the start of my efforts to turn vlogging into a full-time job.
After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
I've travelled to North America just once as a RU-vidr, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.
In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.
I started my travels in 2023 by finally visiting Paris, taking the Eurostar from London. I then headed over to Qatar for a few days, before heading to Asia, with videos following from India, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Mongolia.

I think this is a wonderful, life changing experience for someone under sixty, I’m not fit enough in my seventies, but found this very interesting and informative. I think I’m an armchair traveler these days, but truly enjoyed every minute of this. Thanks for doing this and showing me a fascinating part of the world!

Jason, I cannot tell you enough, just how much I have enjoyed your videos during the past few years. When I was your age, my first job was with RR (Aero Engines), so I got to visit Derby/England several times a year. Afterwards, I began my main career with American Airlines, so world travel became an obsession for me. As I've gotten older, I've followed numerous travel channels on RU-vid. But, without a doubt, yours stand out the best, for the variety of unusual destinations and the quality of your videos! Great work young man, and best wishes as you go forward with your life! Cheers!

I am addicted to watching videos of people visiting Mongolia. Just amazing. I believe one of the videos showed a singing sand dune in that area. However, I've learned that it's not exactly the wind that causes the sand dunes to sing, but the avalanche process. Even if there is no wind, just creating an avalanche with your hands and feet can make it sing, but the dune has to have the right layer of sand. So it seems some locals and guides know where those dunes are in that area. Also, if it rained a couple days prior, then dunes won't make the sound because the sand has to be completely dry. Anyway, I'm really enjoying watching your videos.

I wish I could be there with you; RU-vid only goes so far! But those cliffs and sand dunes sure had my heart racing. Scary! Well done! I imagine the Gobi must have been a garden of eden when the dinosaurs made their homes there. You, honored guest, were just late to the party. Lovely video.

Appreciate that - the sand dune was something else. I think I only realised about halfway that it was going to be a lot tougher than I had anticipated. I didn’t bother to film myself climbing the second half (and the steepest bit). I was just so focused on making it to the top!

Quite an interesting video and experience traveling through the Gobi desert, especially the way it looks now full of desolate sand dunes. But 80 million years ago during the dinosaur era, this region was apparently a completely different climate that was warm and humid, with expansive valleys, freshwater lakes, and conifer forests. It's just mind boggling to think about that span of time and how different the earth once was. Look forward to the rest of your unique travels in Mongolia.

Just wandering why didn't you get your bottle of water with you while climbing the sand dunes! 👌👌👌✌️✌️✌️👍👍👍 Dumpling tea is always good!!! As long as you are not Ross Geller you wouldn't give a damn shit about dinosaurs 😂😂😂 Just for information: Welsh guy called Ash Dykes did cross it on foot, polling his cart with supplies. You were there, you have seen it with your eyes, and imagine to cross it on foot. That guy is incredibly!
@JasonBillamTravel
@JasonBillamTravel 9 месяцев назад
Yeah, my biggest regret. To be fair I had nowhere to put it. I was already carrying my GoPro and you need both hands to scramble. About halfway I stuffed my GoPro in my shorts pocket so I could make it. Never wanted water so much in my life! Welsh guy sounds wild.

Let’s reflect on this for a moment, these travelers are blessed to crossed the desert 🐪 for adventure, they have a place to stay, fresh cooked food etc are people admired them and called them risk takers. In the meantime hundreds of people with their families are crossing the Sonora desert between the united states and Mexico with only what they can carry in their backpacks many many dying in the process, looking for a better life in the other side, but they are referred to as invaders, unwanted etc. Think twice and think deep before you judged someone who is trying to find a better place for their children.
