I wouldn't call it a U87 clone, it only has a cardioid pattern. But if the sound is ok it's still a good deal. I have two Chinese TLM103's. I've compared them with my Neumann TLM103 and they actually sound "annoyingly"' good, especially given the fact that they cost me about €40,- each..... 😛
Well I finally tried them both and I’m embarrassed to say I put them both up against my AKG 414 and they both put my AKG to shame. They both sound nice and open with lots of body. Nice low ends and smooth highs. The 103 actually sounded alittle better than the U87. Hope this helps. I’ll be making another video testing them soon
@@MarcoBandsTV No. They were nice and quiet. Again comparing to my AKG. The noise was quiet and both were very smooth sounding. Supposedly they solder all the components by hand and all the components are bought here in the USA 🇺🇸.
I’ll try to make a review on how they sound next week. I did make a comparison against my AKG 414 and sad to say the GTZs won. Can’t believe they sounded better than my $1,200 microphone.
@@theaudioreviewguy4380 After you do i will decide if i put some money on the card to order them. Also i have to pay for them 60 $ shipping and total will be with discount 234 from 200$. But from us to europe(romania) =))))))))))))
Don't buy from that compagny GotoTools...I had really bad customer service and the owner is a total asshole ! I was buying the GTZ47 Fet based on the pictures on his website and also the reviews online...what i received was not the same nice big mic body it was a smaller cheaper mic body...I was buying this mic only cause i could have build a U47 clone in the mic body so i lost 250$CA for a cheap ass body mic with a cheap ass circuit rebranded from Temu ! Go buy somewhere else, you don't want to make bussiness with that guy !
