UPDATE 1 (12/09/2019): Wow! 38.8K VIEWS! Thank you everyone so much!
I was 14 when I made this video, and I only recorded it just for fun, and to see part of the operations of the Brunswick A2 Japanese pinsetter, then decided to share the video with you guys. As of right now, Castaways has gone through several renovations ever since, with the recent renovation being the lowering of the ceiling from the spectator's area, to the foul line.
I guess it's time I upload a video going over those renovations, and an update to how I'm doing.
Again, thank you all so much for taking the time to watch this video! Please do continue to subscribe, as I will be putting more effort into uploading videos in the future. :-)
This is probably a extreme version of my close up video at Castaways Bowl. I thank the owners for letting me record like this and I also thank the mechanic for helping me record 2 pinsetters instead of 1, including the masking unit being lifted. That was awesome today. Btw, you guys should thank TheBrunswickBowler for the idea! He inspired me to try out this edition and right now, it's great. Thanks TheBrunswickBowler!

***** I have always had the dream of having two pinsetters at home! Brunswick A-2's but if not, I would choose the GS-X. All cool pinsetters, but the A-2's are the best! :D

***** That's really sad. Also, someone told me that Brunswick were bought by QubicaAMF, but I don't want to believe that because I don't like AMF as much as Brunswick. :(

***** Yes, the rakes are very bouncy! But why is it going so low onto the lane? It looks like it will be scratching the lane anytime now

Both lanes the rake cam adjustment is off. rake board rubbing the pindeck also left lane has bad 7 pin scissors or missing pad. right lane cushion follower links need oil.also 10 pin scissors right lane not to good loose or worrn pads.

@Bryan Fuscarino I'm factory trained and 27 years. They need to start with the frame adjustment and replace all the worn parts, then every adjustment in the book. Sadly it may not be the mechanic's fault. Most centers spend just enough to keep the pinsetters going up and down. It is amazing how well pinsetter's run slapped on the kickback with no adjustment at all.

PS - Frame adjustment is the bottom of the rake shaft, the bottom of the deck shaft distance from the pin deck adjusted by the kickback jackscrews.

Not only does the right lane need some extra pins or perhaps a good shaker board replacement, it needs to be looked at to stop the shaky pins. The left lane needs a good rake adjustment. It scrapes the deck every time it sweeps. Don't be lazy, take two minutes to adjust your rake lift rods. Please respect this amazing machine and let it perform the way it is supposed to.

Right lane, gearbox oil leak on curtain, 10 scissor going bad, rake drags pin deck, deck height too low, cushion/rake linkage out of adjustment. Left lane, rake drags pin deck, bad 3 pin scissor. Ive seen enough, mechanic needs to get busy.
