Great, thank you. Took apart a motor I bought with your 9 keyway set to look at the cam and forgot to take pictures lol to see how to resemble it.

Maybe I'm just over complicating this but I'm totally befuddled. I'm installing this on a bone stock 83 chevy 305 truck. I'm lost. At exactly what dot would I line up with the cam sproket dot? I'm assuming it should be 0 and there are 2 dots?

You will line up the dot on the cam sprocket to the "0" mark on the crankshaft sprocket. The other "0" mark will be labeling the keyway slot that you need to use.

Will setting it to advanced on a stock 302 5.0L engine do any damage?

It will not damage anything. Just be aware that performance results may vary.

@@octaviolozano6890 Cam timing adjustments may help power at a certain RPM range, but may negatively affect power at the other end. The manufacturers are likely optimizing typical RPM range, maybe 1K to 4K. A little cam advance will typically help in the higher RPMs.

@@Cloyes01 would you recommend setting it to advanced? And if not then why? Plus if I did advance it what can I add or change so that I can get back the power at lower RPMs? I'm pulling rusted bolts and decided to change everything now that the timing cover is off.
