Hey, today a quick video of replacing the clutch release 1J0721261F / 1J0 721 261F, for another used original in Seat Toledo II 2003 1.6 16v 105KM BCB (twin AZD / AUS Leona 1M / 1M2 VW Volkswagen Golf 4 IV, Skoda Octavia I, Passat, Audi A3 A4 S3 TT, Seat Leon I 1M1).
It seems that the rubber band for the clutch release tube was just badly put on - but I am struggling with such an imprecise clutch - there is a metal "finger" - a rod that presses the clutch plate (there is no thrust bearing there) ) - had a slightly flattened tip, but we put it back on - IT WAS NOT WEARED FLAT, maybe a few mm of the cone was missing.
The clutch is new - do these cars just have it, or try to replace it with a new clutch and / or clutch pedal pump in the cabin?
I would like to achieve there a hard clutch like a diesel, which is easy to feel and which is easy to move dynamically ;)
If anyone knows anything about it, please let me know in the comments :)
And whoever read the description to the end, write in the comment: "Quick job" :)
