E1 BS with Bladie is really fun! You just cut through Wind weak enemies like butter and everything else like foam

I just run e0s1 kafka, e1 bs and e5 gui to maximize the -25% shred res since I don't have ruan mei. I'm pulling for 1 more gui for e6, that+1 firekiss is a really Good upgrade.

​​@@gameralove6418fast BS only works when you have an equally fast Kafka. What most people got wrong about their speed tuning is that BS does not need to be faster than Kafka, but faster than the fastest enemies in the game which are about 155 spd. They just assumed that you only need to make everyone faster than Kafka to apply the dots and then forget about it and in the end either made their Kafka dogshit or killed BS' atk. In fact you can do just fine with a 102 spd BS with 4k atk and a 170 spd Kafka. Both Gacha Smack and Braxophone stressed this too: you either build her super fast, or no speed at all

Same team I've been trying, but with E0S1 Kafka and E1S1 Black Swan. I do swap Huohuo for Gepard in SU though cause of invincible shields, though.

I thought with the release of 2.0 content creators would focus on more beginner friendly guides since this new major patch is bound to have an influx of newer players into the game. But they seem to cannot wrap their minds about that fact yet. You could be an absolute whale and get E6S5 Black Swan and him and his chat would still call you a Mintpicker for not having Kafka, so welcome to the community and get used to these type of tongue and cheek teases.

Huohuo is soo good... i thought i was really regret pulling her because i already have luocha AND fu xuan, (no gepy nor bailu) soo no really need for another sustain and that still stands too this day if u have those two, u are all good to go..... but my thoughs on pulling for her was the cleanse mostly, in my head the game was going to shift heavily on debufing the players... was not the case.. at least not as i was expecting... but now she is my number 1 sustainer... i only replace her with fu xuan when the comp needs more crit rate and thats it... if the comp is good on that... huohuo it is, ....my poor luocha is almost perma benched now lol... but no completly tho.. some comps i prefer him

i legit pulled huo huo on acciden and it was the best thing i couldve done without her amazing heals and cleanses i would not ahve made it far on my acc well i did have kafka so i was fine when i got kafka but huo huo took me to another level fr

HuoHuo is such a great unit, really amazing upgrade for any account but I still feel we need an specific sustainer for DoT comps, a Physical Healer that can apply Bleed, buff DoT DMG and deal some DMG, something like a lifestealer (+Adult or Medium Female model).

@@vickdinvick5485 Luocha is good if you need extra SP, so like a slower but more greedy playstyle. He's a decent AoE breaker too, and good with clutch heals (2T cd tho). I like to build him fast because he can reset his field very quickly. For DoT teams tho, HH is the clear winner here. But LC or RM won't be too far behind. Would be nice to see a chart for their dmg contribution in Kafka + BS team, like the 3rd slot comparison chart in the video.

@@theatter1837 ohh dont get me wrong.. i think luocha is fantastic... hes soo good that hes kinda overkill if u have decent build units, like 3.2k+ hp and 1k+ def on everyone... on those scnearios is can go more offensive with huohuo... for the energy... but overall i think u right is not much of a dif betwen them dmg wise.... and fast luocha is the way to go imho, no for the field itself but for the free skill heal to be ready faster.

it depends but technically u dont wwant black swann too fast but uw ant her fast enough so id say yea go to 135 speed altho i run my black swan super slow to rack up that damage lol and i dont run glamoth so yea go to 135 but its up to your prefense u got lucky sub statss fr gj

I agree. I tried it out too, and running E6 Sampo or E6 Guinafein was just no where the level of even my E0 Ruan Mei. It's not a slight DMG increase, it's quite apparanent. + Break efficiency+ speed + delay, all of those essential aspects are all lost.

I also feel like Ruan mei is much stronger addition for kafka than it looks like.

Yeah, also if you're aiming for Breaks, then the 3rd DoT may or may not help if they don't hit the weakness element of the enemy, while Ruan Mei can boost the break efficiency of your team so as long as the enemies are weak to Lightning and/or Wind then Kafka and Black Swan would be enough to break them

@@dumbledore_loves_anime same experience sampo dot application is dogshit and when he finally stacks wind sheer on max against 2 elites they are already dead lmao, i havent tried guinaifen but i cant rely on her cuz i my second team is topaz fua stuff and i dont want to send e1s1 topaz against fire resistant enemies

I think you should stay with speed boots to get to 134. The only exception is if you have Mei and her speed boost can get you to 134 speed while using attack boots. Asta could work for that as well. Having 2 turns per cycle is going to be better overall since you will get more energy, more arcana and more skill points. Having more arcana and having her ultimate active will translate to more damage.

@@bromegaman5962Yeah, I do pair them with Ruan Mei and the 134-135 are their speed stats before factoring buffs. If I took out the Speed boots though, Black Swan will lose 25 speed, and getting to 134 again with only Ruan Mei isn’t possible, unless she’s using Hackerspace, which my Ruan Mei doesn’t since I’m giving her Watchmaker set

Her LC has a big difference compared to even S5 eyes of prey or GNSW, mainly due to def ignore it provide. But since you have S4 eyes of prey or maybe even S5 before mission start you can use those and pull for jingyuan LC instead. This is jingyuan's rerun and if you missed his LC then you're going to have to wait for a long time while BS will have a rerun after a few patch

Generally Atk% sphere are BiS in most case, but the difference is really small unless you use RM of which the difference is somewhere above 10%. Go with the one that has better substats

I do it and it's a pretty similar experience to running Little Gui with Dr. Ratio. Little Gui and Black Swan both apply multiple debuffs which Dr. Ratio loves, help deal with adds and provide AOE dmg. Probably not the most optimal but it works. Edit: heck, I just realized you can even run Ratio + BS + Gui + Sustain and it probably won't be the worst thing in the world. Gui's vulnerability debuff stacks well with BS's def shred, Ratio applying imaginary weakness break to an enemy gives BS more time to stack Arcana, Gui can apply DOTs with just her basic and trigger Arcana when BS ult is active, etc.

Arcana is applied with 65% base chance whenever an enemy enters battle (talent lvl 10)

Attack would be better for bs and kafka, you can get to 110 speed with atk boots and still max glamoth with asta buff. Speed boots would be fine for Kafka as well, but you really want attack boots on bs.

@@bryanjason7202 not sure how helpful ruan lc would be without 160 BE(if you do have a 160 BE asta it would be nice). 3 turn ults would work if you ult on kafka’s turn so the dot triggering has glamoth buff. 2 turn ult would possibly be better, but I’m not sure you have that much sp, so if you can get a 3 turn ult with ruan lc it would likely be better.

It's maxes at 3 stacks when triggered by allies. So if won't help if you kafka s1 but it will add stacks on enemy turn. Not sure if bs will add an extra stack via her basic atk on not.

Huohuo straight up is too useful for dots to not use atm. Her atk% and energy charge add to much value. Energy alone takes out a full 30 energy for her ult. Allowing you to 2 turn if you have err rope/ penachony 2 set.

After Penacony goes through most of their new characters should expect Kafka again. May be like 6 months before Kafka runs again.

@@TOTGodofWar Well thankfully it's a pretty casual game and Dr. Ratio is there for the second team so the wait won't be that big of an issue for me as long as it happens period. In the meantime I could also grab Hwehwe when she gets her rerun as well. It's kinda a backwards way of building a team but idc, I just find Hypercarry teams boring.

They've been rerunning characters at a fast rate. But as the other commenter mentioned, 6 months is a reasonable expectation.

You mean the reverse, Kaien? If you're using Tutorial you want it for the extra energy so you can pair it with Atk planar, while with Eyes of Prey you solve the energy issue with ER planar From what you wrote there if it's in term of damage then obviously the Eyes of Prey and Atk planar combination will deal the most damage, but you'll be lacking in energy which can be crucial

I see. If you want to maximize the damage of your first rotation then yeah, going full damage should give you the best results when the Arcana dot explodes in the end But you'll take an extra turn or two after that to do the second rotation, so I wonder if that's really better than a smoother rotation in longer fights

not a theorycrafter or anything, but here's what i think not only does kafka benefit from 160 spd thanks to glamoth, but having that speed allows kafka to act twice in a single cycle, essentially allowing her to trigger arcana after bswan's application in the same cycle anyway (i may be wrong on this but that's what my understanding is)

@@jereg4662 do take note that bswan ALWAYS applied 1 stack of arcana the moment enemies spawn in, so using kafka skill will automatically add stacks right away

Sampo is great pick for BS, not as crazy as kafka but very much clears all content for wind weakness

In your case, you would want to switch to speed boots only if you can hit 160 on Kafka. Since you have Mei there to add ~10 speed, you are almost there. For Swan you could go down to 124 base speed with atk boots, then you would get 10 speed from Mei to get up to 134. Or if you're able to get up to 150 with speed boots, then she could get to 160 as well. That would be difficult though, due to her needing much more EHR subs, but it's possible.

Sparkle is more universal and future proof

Harmony units are top1 priority and sustain units are top2. Anyway the best companions for sw won't be available for a half a year +-, yet Sparkle can make any dd stronger, even dr ratio, also qq will be in her banner and she with e6 and Sparkle will be a badass combo btw (but if u get sw early trying to get tingyun it won't hurt)

At e6 he triggers bleed multiple times with every hit of his enhanced basic

Ruan Mei are really good with DoT team, but shes not needed. Ive been replacing her with pela, asta and sometimes tingyun and doing just fine. I guess its just the case of people used to using the best team and not planning to go back

@@Kurppalumppu hes doing a 0 cycle on floor 11 with an e1 character that just got released. Its pretty reasonable advice for a person whos doing 0 cycles. And even if he didnt its still useful to be aware of. Also u can guarantee a bronya from standard banner which many players already have.

@@s-zs7nn Hmm but from the sounds of it, Black Swan was the deciding factor for them. I'm actually trying to pull for another copy of her on my alt account (already have her LC) for the versatility of her E1. Makes her able to amplify other DOT units I use like Serval and Guinaifen (no Kafka either on this acc). Her E1 would boost Blade's Damage on any enemy that has Arcana stacks since that counts as wind shear, so Blade gets the benefit of wind RES reduction + def reduction from Black Swan's skill. Would Bronya's buffs really result in more DMG than Blade + BS + Ruan Mei combined in such a scenario?

@@Kurppalumppu yes, thew enemies are already wind weak and u get res shred from ruan meis ult. the def and res shred do not make up for the 100% advance forward and the dmg and crit dmg buff from bronya. Also for a 0 cycle with black swan u want at least ruan meis sig to get ur ult early enough and without fine fruit on ur healer ud probs need to build more spd on her than ud want. Idk if all that investment to make it work is worth it tbh.

Acheron is not DoT, leaks show her kit to be closer to Welt

i also don't run galmoth on black swan i run the effect hit rate orbs bc i don't have a gold effect hitrate peicce yet so i have 3.5k attack with 130 hitrate with jus a little speed
