I did see one true crime once that was honest and said the victim was shy and quiet, spent a lot of time in her room doing art work, and really didn't have a lot of friends. It was refreshing. It's okay to just be who you are, you don't have to be the light of everyone's life for your death to be a tragedy.

I remember when there was a time the Jerry Springer show was much different then it is now. However, it has always been "shock TV". In their pursuit for the next big bombshell to drop, the show got to be way out of control. Anyways, I agree...I would never have put it on the Jerry Springer Show. Then again, if I was desperate to find my child, I would take it to any venue that would have me. That show probably hit the demographic community they were looking to reach and many more people then would see other local news programs. (Possibly rivaling national programs as well!) We also assume that other media outlets would have even awarded her the opportunity to have a 45 second TV spot. They only care about ratings most of the time...

he was a criminal but not a monster like larry hall. just hearing what he did to their daughter, i don't care how full of himself he appears, your mind goes straight to the parents and what his murders did to so many people. he did risk his life in there for his father, but i think he cared about the victim. they needed to maybe warn him of the things he could hear from larry hall; train him with anger management to control his rage.
