You have such beauty and grace and it comes across in all your words and your actions and the art you do. I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't even imagine. I find creating in the quiet dark o clock the best time , love seeing you on the table my friend,you have inspired me to create positive affirmation cards that I’ve been giving to my co workers,as we are hospital workers and what better times then these than to share the appreciation and thank every one with a little memento of these days,which we will get through

I have 3 sons myself... carer for my youngest who is 26 and has both a psychotic disorder and a drug problem... so I have been on an emotional rollercoaster myself over the last several years, with him sometimes missing or in hospital and the constant underlying fear of how it could end.... and my art keeps me relatively sane, so i really appreciate you sharing your journey. @@itsnoreentime thank you for sharing your love and your story...i hear you!!! i lost my son Casey years ago...my Cameron chose to live on the streets at the tender age of 15....a constant worry.....a heroin addict....i was ready for 'the call' 24 hours a day during that time...so hard! he got clean at the age of 21....i thought we were out of the woods and i relaxed a bit....then....february 6th i got 'the call'....clean for 5 years, Cameron slipped in the bathtub and drown....i was unprepared...our journeys are difficult at best....know that you are not alone noreen.....the light in me honors the light in you noreen....namaste....

I had to chuckle about your comment about hair, when I was 62 i had uterine cancer and had to undergo a total hysterectomy I was fortunate I didn't need chemo or radiation they caught it in time, but my hair for some reason started to fall out, and I have these strings lol so you could say I have quarantine hair 365!

I just came across your channel while I was looking for ideas on making an altered book of collaging old photos from my family. But the biggest problem that I have of course is not wanting to cover certain things up. Let me explain I have an old album of my father’s football accomplishments from 1920 to the 1940s or 30s. All the newspaper articles have been in a plastic sleeve in an album and they are all just writing up chorus and discolored. So I have taken very good photos of all of them so that they are saved they could be printed at any time. I am thinking of making altered book or cards. I think it’s better to collage them with the mod podge and that actually will save them all in a way but it’s like how do I arrange them so I’m not covering certain things up but yetI want it to be artistic. I would love to have a tutorial on how to do that or any ideas you may have on how I would do that or approach it. I am an artist first I do lots of paintings and different things but I’m 77 years old and I really want to take all those memories and put them in something besides a bunch of photos that are thrown in a box. I have many pictures of my family does it go all the way from the late 1800s to the 1950 and 60s. I am willing to share for free any of these images to be part of your group. I am also a photographer and I’ve done lots of beautiful still life‘s and flowers things like that that I’d be glad to share digital images of. By the way I live near you I grew up in Marin County, and I’m living in Petaluma right now

This is Janet Joslin again and I just thought of something else I have that I want to do something with and that’s my fathers love letters to my mother I have photographed all of them I also have letters from my family going back to the 1800s it all seems overwhelming but those love letters are amazing and I was thinking if you had any ideas of something it’s almost like I’m thinking cards again but larger cards which would be the size of like a Taro card.
