Cobra SZ Driver tested Average Golfer

I've just purchased last year's cobra f9 for £261, So the price point does matter. And with a similar performance with £100 plus difference , I think Cobra have a real winner once again. Great review thanks for your efforts.

Just bagged the white sz version after gaming the f9 back of last year and it looks way better the sz. Throw in it's more forgiving and cobra are knocking it out of the park again this year. Very interested in the forged tec irons also they look stunning.

I'd love to see a comparison with the original Cobra SZ from 15 years or so ago. Then we could see how far drivers have really come along in the last decade and a half. The first brand new driver I ever got was a Cobra SZ 440 conforming driver.

Cobra's lineup this year is really good this year and streamlined imo. For me I'll be buying a new driver this year and it's between the Cobra and the new Mizuno driver.

I actually like the Red and Yellow look. The Black and White color scheme is very nice as well. The Cobra Driver is a winner. As always, a great video Andy. Keep up the good work.

Its def going in my bag Andy - replacing my Epic SZ from 2017. Looking forward to matching into the correct shaft for my v. avg 100pmh club head speed. Lots of options on shafts in the Cobra Custom chart...Red, Yellow and Black option for me Andy, but is great than they offer two looks as standard. Club looks far better than Cally or TMAG big dog efforts this year

If I hadn't bought a driver last year this driver would be top of my list to try. It looks great and has had invariably great reviews.

Andy i have just been fitted at a Cobra demo day and think it is a great club. I found the yellow one too blingy. I have bought the white one because it has a matt finish. Cannot wait until it arrives⛳🏌️‍♂️

I have to say. I was fitted at Club champion last year Cobra F9. I went back to try the Speedzone I like to look but it simply wasn't better than the F9 for me. I'm also leary about buying anymore Cobra because I had to return the F9 because the paint on head started peeling which they gave me a new one. While I was at Club Champion I was fitted for the Speedzone 3 wood to replace Cobra F7 one I had . Went back to pick it up and hit about 25 balls with it and it started chipping and know I didn't top it.. Sent it back waiting for replacement. I don't know what is going on but I never had any problems like this with any of my clubs including the F7.

Still opting for the Cleveland hb launcher , just above the g400 max

Another great review mate. Performance is everything in a driver. Might not look good but if it helps you get it out there it's job done.

Hit this and the Xtreme and the Xtreme was a more forgiving driver with better feel, stability and dispersion. And the White was a clear winner

Good review Andy like yourself the colour is not for me a bit too busy a bit much going on if you like, I prefer the traditional looks of a driver I look forward too your Mizuno review and see what your honest opinion is of a cheaper driver again. 👍

I demoed the extreme version yesterday and it's a nice driver and flew very straight for me as well. It seems to get along very nicely with off-center strikes. That said, I still prefer my gamer, the Epic Flash SZ.

I like the look from the top. I have the F9 yellow with gloss top but I wished I'd chosen the white and Matt finish top. Hopefully the off center hits is more forgiving on the SZ than the F9

I'd be looking at the white one out of the two models. However I'm really looking forward to seeing the Mizuno ST200. It's at a great price point too £299. I think it'll be a huge seller this year, lot of positive noise being made lately.

I tried the SZ Xtreme with the Hzrdus Smoke Black and really liked that...could swing as hard as I could and still went straight...I’m temped to go for the Xtreme with the Matt Black & White....think the Xtreme would the Average golfer better tbh!

i like when u have 4/5 diff golfers of diff handicaps trying out the drivers i mean watching the pros hit new drivers is USELESS for the average golfers that are watching this channel......... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK i have last years cobra speedback is its awesome

Not in the market for the driver but really like the look of the SZ big tour 3 wood as a replacement for my F8! NOT a fan of the yellow though!

Ordered a sz driver, a sz 5 wood and a sz 21° hybrid, all with hzrdus smoke stiff shafts. Really impressed me. Even went for yellow, find it distinctive and individual to cobra, which I like!

Dispersion is key. Fairway finder. Get it in ya bag mate. 5-10 yards doesn't really matter. Think we have all been consumed by spin and distance. Keeping it in play us ultimate 👍

Swing speed must be off right? The smash for that speed is in the mid 1.5s which would be illegal wouldn't it? I hit similar ball speeds and my ss is around 100-102.

Wish they would get rid of yellow!!! White is a bit better but Cobra just doesnt have eye appeal to me. I wont even try them because they dont suite my eye. I know im probably missing out but they look cheap, to me anyways.
