@Daniyal Ahmed that's not entirely true, cockatiels(thanks to their wide range of morphs/diff. colours) are part of the birds that cannot be told apart from either gender, the only real way with almost all bird species is a blood test to find out the gender.
Its quite risky to fly your bird there, a car could be speeding through the road and it might hit your bird, or there could be a falcon/eagle anywhere. I would recommend you fly him/her in an open field
@@datpotatoes4005 Its from a youtubers video xD he named himself aloe vera lover 808, since he was trying to prank someone named OLI London So i decided to switch it around and go with Oli vera lover 808 xD
Birds are meant to fly. We wouldnt like our legs strapped to a chair, right? Its fantastic! U have a precious gem of a bird. I hope u feed him lots of fruits/vegies too. U seem to be a pretty gd owner & the bird loves u. Enjoy your gift.
Lucky bird! I always wanted to get to this point but never quite worked up the nerve. I know it can be done safely but I've researched it too much to not be paranoid.
Me and my parakeet use to do this in the park, I would also cycle with him, he would stand on my handlebar and he would close his eyes and enjoy the wind, but now he is sick, his beak was deformed, the vet said there was nothing they can do, so my pet budgie name devilio, have to live like that forever
I do not recommend to put ur bird out there to fly free. It can be really risky because ur bird might fly away. I would recommend to do it in a big space inside. And there could be a car coming or maybe an eagle or something to eat it.
Most people think that it's dangerous to free fly birds and of course it is. But cockatiels are super aerodynamic fast and agile fliers. I would be more worried about a kesteral. And eagles don't typically attack small flying birds. And parrots have a reputation of being dumb in the face of danger. If an animal is Raised in captivity it might not know fear. But free flying birds are more experienced. I would rather the bird fly away and escape and never come back.
@@juzailibullie5597 I'm not praying, just saying that it could happen! That cockatiel could have gotten terribly injured... Instead of making them fly in an area where cars and bigger birds Go, I would go to a field to free fly
Did you train that at home? I would never try it with my birds, they couldn't survive if they flew away. But they have a big room just for them at least.

How do you make free flying safe for your birb? I would try it with my cockatiel, but I love next to a forest and would be worried a bird of pray would snatch them. But lovely bird 💖
