I think her response was driven by a bunch of things. Not just the fact that her hero was Lelouch, who she saw as callous and uncaring for anyone but his sister (which was also sadly the truest reflection of his character), but the fact that it probably also clicked that Zero was responsible for Euphemia's massacre (hence her despairing question, "You used the Japanese people?"). In this moment, she understood with perfect clarity that she, her people, and her cause, were just a means to an end. It also directly relates to Lelouch's key aspect as a character that remains true throughout the series: for all of the values that he plays with, and by which he judges Britannia as worthless and deserving of death, at this point in the story he will gladly sacrifice all of the people he's claiming to help if he thinks it's necessary to save his sister. For better or worse, his love for Nunnally is the only thing which truly matters to him, even to the exclusion of Nunnally's own wants.

Cliffhanger is more of an image of a show where someone is hanging on the side of the cliff. The suspense, the tension, the drama, what’s gonna happen? Then the show fades to black, roll credits. You feel like you were left hanging on a proverbial cliff yourself. UwU

@@DeadMasterJoe I have the movies on Amazon prime and I enjoyed them but I like the show taking more time and letting things breathe. The movies are cramped for time and skip over some major events. Still worth a watch though. And the new show I'm curiously excited about.

There's really only like 2 things the movies change. If you what they are, it's possible to skip the first three movies and go straight to the fourth. I liked the fourth, felt like a little bit of a cash grab but there were some enjoyable moments.

Wrong!! Did you forget the context in the cutscenes always have important details? The OVA has things from other perspectives and an alternate timeline altogether (trying not to spoil but umm, SHIRLEY) so if they skip it they’ll be beyond lost when they get to the movies especially Resurrection

Y'all gotta stop saying this, that movie has nothing to do with the anime. There is a Code Geass movie canon, FnL follows the Zero Requiem movie timeline SPECIFICALLY, not the Anime.
