What I loved most about this episode was the focus on these victims at the end. You see the photos of them helping these young women and the young man of one of those women. You actually don’t even see them fade like in most Cold Case episodes. This is probably the best one of the first season.
This is one of the many episodes of Cold Case that has always stuck with me for years. A really beautiful, tribute to the brave people who did everything they could to help these women who couldn’t have access to the care they needed and deserved. I loved how the end focused on how one moment was so pivotal for every single one of those women.
This was the very first episode I watched and was very intrigued by the double casting, the victims’ ghosts, and the music. After watching a few more episodes, I was hooked! I like police dramas, but Cold Case was very unique to me. I miss this show.
Such a shame Cold Case has cancelled. One of the best shows ever made! We never got to see Lilly and Scotty together:( Danny Pino is so hot! I love Lations;)
@@dreamcage1801 many people are in an open relationship right now, just don't know about it. Cheaters should just admit that they want open relationships instead of lying to themselves
This was an amzing episode but Gerard and Julia's relationship had me confused at some points. Was there romance involved, strictly friendship, business, or what?
Does ANYONE have a tape or dvd of this episode??????? I remember watching it the first time it aired. It was a difficult time in our country and Fat Donnie is hell bent on taking us back to this. So, I am hoping someone can help me. Thanks
I hate the killer, but certainly don't feel sorry at all to the 2 victims. They helped people to kill the unborns, even stopped Charlie who tried to prevent his girlfriend did the abortion. U did the sex without safety, u take the risk of being pregnant. Be responsible! And the worst part is, the victims considered as "heroes" in this ep 🙄 pathetic
@@triciajohansen9295 Thanks. I found the site and of course the one I REALLY wanted isn't on the playlist. They are missing 3 episodes. That one brought back memories of the time and the struggles women had and I grew up 40 miles out side of Philadelphia and recognize the landmarks and places. I hope I can find that one episode. But they ALL were great and very compelling.
@@triciajohansen9295 Actually, I dug a little deeper and found someone else had ALL the episodes. I have been binge watching ever since. Thanks again for the lead.
The song at the very beginning was Volunteers by Jefferson Airplane. It shows the two victims helping young women in blindfolds. You find out later what they volunteered for and why the women were blindfolded. The really sad thing was they were killed not because they were helping young women obtain abortions. They were killed because the killer was exposed as a snitch.
He killed them to protect his own reputation. On the outside, he was anti-war and while he professed rage against the government-he was actually an FBI informant and had served in Vietnam. They found out and threatened to expose him-so he killed them before they could talk. This was always one of my favorite episodes and closings-they even played the whole song. It's a shame we don't have quality dramas on TV like this anymore
