Omg this was so much fun! I loved this!! So funny!!😂😂😂😂omg same this was me 3:25 reading the book as well😂😂😂🫠I had to take a breath & breathe cuz I’m like omg Colin & Penelope especially Colin’s lines🫠💚I’m still dead like what are they gonna put in the show?!💀😂😂😂😂 I need every line of Colin’s confession. It’s perfection. I hope they keep it in the show like THAT IS MANDATORY!!💙such a great book. Them being writers killed me I love that they both are writers & we see that connection with them writing letters in S2. Writer Colin needs to be in the show!! I cried when they were so happy when his book arrived. Penelope is his #1 supporter & vice versa😭There’s so much to look forward to cuz the book & show are different like Lord Debling?! What are they gonna do there? Cressida & Eloise? Will they have Anthony help Colin a bit? Can’t wait to see Violet guide Penelope this season & more interactions with the Bridgertons & Pen. How will Queen Charlotte fit into all of this?👀I hope we get Lady Danbury & Penelope’s friendship this season as well. I loved them!! So many ways this season will go. I can’t wait to see Polin dances & the music this season too. Less than 1 month to go✨💚

glad you enjoyed it 😭 thank youu!! Ahah l’m with you, every word he says must be mandatory (haha love that) Yeah even with the s3 titles revealed I’m still not sure how they are going to do it and for them to split the series part 1 and part 2 LIKE WHAT IS GOING ON 😭

The scene of Eloise finding out about LW is actually not in the main books but rather in something called "Romancing Mister Bridgerton - the second epilogue". Julia Quinn wrote a second epilogue for all the Bridgerton books (that can all be found in a book called "The Bridgertons - Happily ever after") and Polin's second epilogue is Pen and Colin going on a trip to, among other things, tell Eloise that she is Lady Whistledown. However, this second epilogue takes place during the timeline of Eloise's book which starts right where Romancing Mister Bridgerton ends (and explains where she disappeared to at the end of RMB), so if you read it without having read Eloise's book you will be spoiled about that one, IF you ever plan to read it. I will say though, Pen's Whistledown reveal to Eloise in the book has very little to do with the one we saw in the show.

I am ok with the LW being revealed in the books but don’t think it will work for the show. It’s still too early and the show needs that LW voice. Maybe the Queen finds out and they come up with some sort of agreement. Just my feeling

You give excellent and enthusiastic reviews of Bridgerton. Shondaland/Netflix should give you early access to the first six episodes of season three! Some of the other reviewers I watch have access. I think you are just as deserving. I have been a fan of the "Bridgertons" since the early 2000s when I was a teen. At that time, I was a huge fan of Polin as they are called now and Francesca and Michael. Side note: Polin wasn't PG then and (and happy to state 😉) they will not be PG now during their near future season on Netflix. We are in for a long over due shock and a much needed wild (carriage) ride.

Means a lot to me 🙇🏾‍♀️ That is the dream one day, Shonda and Netflix to let me interview the cast and review the episodes 😭 Oh my goodness I don’t think I’m ready for NON-PG Colin ahaha Rewatching the series again and s1 he looks like a babyyyy and now he’s all grown up!!

We can be delulu together because I do believe men like that exist, not perfect like in books ,but definitely romantic and open about their love for you! I know married women with very romantic and affectionate husbands. Don’t stop believing girls lol. I am actually not sure if they’ll reveal Lady whistledown publicly in the show this season. I have a feeling they’ll put that off in the show for as long as they can. Maybe they’ll adapt that scene in a future season. But for now I can see just the Bridgertons knowing and keeping the secret out of love for Penelope and cause she’s marrying into the family, she’s one of them now.

Loved this! I was giggling all over again with you when you got to Chapter 18. LOL. Actually, my heart-thumping began at the very end of Chapter 17 with Colin's "Stay." Ugh. IKR! Isn't it hilarious that THERE IS NO MIRROR SCENE in the book!? I didn't jump on board the Polin train until the Valentine's Day press day and saw all the fandom a-flutter with "mirror" and it got me curious. Now you know my shock finding out it was really just a throwaway line! My guess is that JQ teased that line with the intention to add that scene in the book but then completely forgot about it as she got caught up in the whole Whistledown plot, lol. And speaking of the Whistledown plot - I loved it! Again, I watched the Netflix series first so I knew who LW was going in when I read RMB just 2 months ago. Can't imagine the shock for book readers when LW's identity was revealed 20 years ago. It's unfortunate the Duke won't be there in the series because having him along with the "Bridgerton's Assemble" moment was so powerful in that final TRIUMPHANT ending. Support of the Duke, highest nobility, outside of Royalty, makes a statement. Colin's speech was so romantic. Perfect callback to Pen's belief that love should being declared "assuredly, fervently, loudly." What a beautiful way for a Wallflower to be brought into the spotlight. I've got high hopes that show-Colin will be even more of a hero. Can't wait.

I know there are a lot of people who didn’t like this book, and I have a hard time understanding why. There were moments in the book where I did feel uncomfortable (like how Colin managed his anger sometimes) but it doesn’t happen enough to ruin the story, and it’s something that can be easily changed in the show. They have such a beautiful relationship and the best communication skills, compared to the other couples This one is one of my favorites in the Bridgerton series. Loved your review and your energy!

I've been thinking about the book and I do like the romance, the struggles and them overcoming those struggles. But I never really cared for the bits of aggression that Colin had, it made me feel a bit uneasy. I also wish he took Penelope with him to speak with Anthony about what to do about Cressida, it's about the business she built herself and while I'm glad Colin was so supportive and protective in the end I just feel Penelope should have been included in the convo. FYI I'm also a Benedict fan lol. You could read his book next if you haven't already

I listened to this book on RU-vid. It was really good! My favorite so far. I doubt Pen and el will be friends anytime soon. Probably last two eps.

Oh yess That is so trueeee 🫢 In season 2 he was still not over Marina and it seems when he catches up with Penelope about his travels, he doesn’t mention anyone he’s been with. He seems more excited to talk about his travels and discovering himself!

Men like Bridgerton don't exist sorry to say girly if you are waiting for handsome and rich and romantic and wants to settle down etc. then you'll be waiting forever! 😂 so you just have to go for a guy who has most of what you want (cause they don't make them in real life like they do in the books!!!)
