It’s been about a year since I was implanted with the Titan Coloplast. I’ve gained some lost length and girth back and I’m 100% happy with the results. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened!
There are unfortunately so many judgemental people in this video's comment section as well as her other video about the topic. This is a solution that drastically improves men's physical and mental health. Please don't judge if you haven't been through all the stress of ED.
Team AMS here. I received my implant last September. Couldn't have been any more smoother. My surgeon implanted the AMS 700 CX. Due to my diabetes, he chose this to prevent infection. I jokingly told him just before I went back for the surgery, I wanted the "John Holmes" edition implant. He used the CX. I questioned him on my follow up appointment on why he didn't use the LGX and he explained to me that the LGX was a sales gimmick. I only wish that I had done this surgery sooner.
@@1edmondmartell Not sure what you mean. The apparatus fills with saline when you pump it up. They are 2 long cylinders that are put in place of the tissues that normally get erect.
@bigkeith500 I only paid probably $2500-$3000 out of pocket. Insurance paid for the rest. I had a lot of documentation from my Doctors showing that I no longer responded to other forms of treatments such as Viagra and penile injections. With that documentation, my insurance approved the surgery. Do your research and find a Doctor that has done lots of these procedures.
im really thinking of having one done. injections are not working well and giving me a scar tissue. i am indecisive about which model to get. some are for AMS and some others Titan. honestly, i am considering going with the titan and your comment is helping me decide, thank you
@Rena Malek, M.D. - this video explained the differences well between the two devices. It is important to get the differences that the reps from these companies won't tell you (or deemphasize). One additional help would have been to add some more pop-up graphics of the specific device and bulleted text for each device while you are talking about them. Given the fast flying technical details being given, it would help to reduce confusion for some folks (like me - I had to rewind a few times). A final side-by-side visual breakdown of the two would also help us take notes.
I had the Coloplast implant done on June 6. I go back to the urologist this Wednesday to get final instructions. To be honest the past 3 weeks have been a bit rough since the doctor gave me a half erection for the healing process. It is difficult trying to work and do other functions with a half erection, especially when one has not had an erection for many years. My ED is a result of blood pressure meds and age. I just turned 71 on the 24th and am excited about the possibility of making love again.
Спросите у уролога возможна ли комбинация импланта и гиалуроновой кислоты высокой плотности. Это избавит например от вялой головки полового члена(минус теряется чувствительность)
Titan man here. It's hard as a railroad spike. I have the classic pump, not the 1-touch. It squeaks during inflation, but given the results, no complaints. The other pumps don't squeak I am told.
@@Lefty1964 I lost a tad in length. I had been on the injections prior to getting my implant, and I think that caused some tissue damage. But when I got my AMS, he upsized me a couple of cm's since the Titan had stretched my tissue a little. I'm almost back to what I was pre implant. I gained girth with the Titan, but my AMS took me back to my natural girth, if maybe a little more
Choose your Doc carefully, If they haven’t done hundreds- nope. If they don’t let you choose which implant- nope. If they want to put a sand bag on you to prevent swelling- nope. If they brag about how fast they do the surgery- nope. You want experience not arrogance, one of the reasons I try to avoid male doctors, they tend to act like everything is no big deal. Ther are exceptions, but from my experience they are far and few between.
Dr. Malik I disagree with you on which manufacture feels more natural in the deflated state. The AMS included hard plastic parts, while the Coloplast is more soft, natural and pliable . IMH0 Having had both , the "Titan" is superior in every way; especially girth and ridgity.
After 20 years of slowly worsening ED, and treatments from Viagra, Cialis, and Trimix, I decided to get an AMS 700 penile implant, and my urologist agreed. There are several potentially significant downsides, including an extremely painful recovery period, lessened sensitivity of the skin along the penis, soft glans (tip) even with full inflation, and “some loss of length”, reportedly just a few millimeters. Alas, my original urologist left and was replaced by a new one, and we both were shocked when I reported a TWO INCH loss of erect length. I had used a metal ruler with a cemented hardwood cross piece, fitting the end snugly against my pelvic wall. I started doing this to judge how potent (or weak) each new batch was… too strong at normal dose meant a painfully tense erection between 6.25 and 6.5 inches; perfect amount resulted in a very firm yet comfortable 6.0 inch length. Post-recovery I had a maximum 4.0 inches! When I asked for help he sent me to the clinic’s senior urologist who treated me with such disdain, disrespect, and ridicule that I nearly cried. I researched every know method to maximize my post-implant length, but only gained 1/4 inch. I am now 74, my wife is a fat 70, and I haven’t been able to remain inside of her since I got the implant. I’ve contacted the manufacturer who were unable to offer much help, and my new urologist says I am his first with such a dramatic loss of length. So be careful and I suggest having your surgeon measure you at full erection before doing the surgery. I am 100% certain I was given a too-short AMS 700, but the damage has been done. P.S. I have been a medical professional for 50 years.
Yes ... ... , but the device itself costs about $ 25,000.oo; N0T counting the surgeon, hospital and other related expenses topping $ 75,000.oo. Insurance companies are going to need convinced.
Seriously ... ...IF you've had prolonged ED, it make take some time to become accustomed to utilizing an errect penis for its intended purpose again. Memory is a funny thing. We're probably not as young as we used to be either. The implant may not be the whole issue. Both participants have probably gained some extra cushioning down there combined with reduced flexibility. Losing weight on both parties or liposuction may help. Also the penis itself consists of more than just the appendage that dangles outside the public region. The actual shaft lays under the surface as well. Experiment with varied positions. In the beginning her on top may prove beneficial until you get into the swing of things again. Also, it could be that the implant didn't cause the shortening. One you are past obtaining morning wood, the penis begins shrinking at approximately 1/4 inch per year. So all that time that you were, "just getting by" before addressing the problem more directly; could have finally caught up with you. Improper measuring/calculating is also a common problem. While frequent implanters may confidently try to size you as long as possible, less experienced urological surgeons ten to be more cautious Undersizing tends to have less tragic results [being less painful ]than when oversized. I've heard that the AMS 700LGX is often purposefully undersized due to the belief the "Maximizing" effect of its construction will eventually compensate for the discrepancy.
I had a three piecet implant in 1989. I'm a grower and since the implant was put in while I was flacid, I lost about 2 inches. The operation went well but I never had so much pain and it lasted for three months
Please tell me more! I have the Ams -700cx and I can NOT have intercourse at all! It’s so god damn short now! I lost almost 2”, where the surgeon said I would lose no more than a 1/2” I went back twice and said to him, “Would you use this”? Of course he said, yes of course! I went to another surgeon at another practice (Greater Boston Urology) and of course he said my implant is 100% correct and normal in length! So I said 3.5 “ is normal! I can’t use it! I am hop to get a revision at Boston Medical Center Dept of Urology, who uses Coloplast As
After living with the AMS 700 for 10 years after prostate cancer surgery I have no compilates. It took a few time to get use it . After 10 years It still get hard as the rock and sex it still fantastic.
Please address these issues. I have a friend who had an implant, I’m not sure which type, but he said he lost more than an inch in length compared to his original length. He also mentioned that his doctor recommended using a stretching device prior to his surgery. He could not tolerate using it. It was just too uncomfortable.
Your "friend" is partially correct. Its possible that it appears that your friend possibly lost an inch, however; its N0T caused by the implant or the surgery. Once blood flow to the Corpra Cavenosa ends the penis begins shrinking by approximately 1/4" per year. (Atrophy ?) Don't wait, it won't improve on its own; seek professional attention early
To all the males on here that say no you would have a change of heart once you know what the implant can do however this is for people with prostate cancer hight blood pressure and other medical reasons
I live in Indianapolis. My friend went to see Dr. Robert Suh who can do the surgery in IU West which is 5 minutes from where I live. Urology of Indiana does this type of surgery. You have to check with your insurance company. Mine is covered if you've had ED more than 6 months and have used medications, the injection or a vacuum device without success.
Inflatable cuffs can be wrapped around the urethra to help stop incontinence (artificial urinary sphincters). Wouldn't it be possible to have something similar wrapped around the base of the corpus cavernosum? In theory, this would restrict the blood flow out of the CC and assist or cause an erection, much like a penis ring but inside of the body instead of outside. A penis ring can create greater engorgement between the ring and the head of the penis, but it does not influence blood flow "below" the ring. An inflatable cuff at the base would create engorgement for the entire penis. No?
Very interesting Doc!!! I have a few questions about this. What is being pumped into the implant? Blood, air, or some type of medically safe fluid? What happens if a natural erection occurs will the implant affect your natural performance and comfort? I'm trying to stay as healthy as possible because I can phantom the thought of having a knife down there in my private area unless it was to save my life. 👀Sorry for being shallow Doc, but thanks for your informative video!!!!! Have a wonderful week!!!!❤
Hey Doc! Been watching a lot of your videos. Being Hank Hill many may already know I suffer from a narrow urethra. Mine is caused by a stricture. Can you do a video about urethral strictures and treatments? Mine developed randomly when I was about 14. I had my first urethrotomy Christmas Eve when I was 17. The treatments don’t really last. I’ve had a few of those done so far, I’m 35 now. The whole process from the first scoping, to the actual surgery, and then the week of having a cath installed… it all sucks 😂. I hear the other treatments are even worse though… worse than a large medical apparatus stuck up there 😩
I'm seriously thinking about getting a penile implant. i'm on blood pressure medications and I also take 5 mg of tadalafil a day, so I'm thinking a penile implant is the way to go but which one though?
Ann IPP is a fully contained hydraulic/mechanical dependent devise that uses an internal supp)y of saline solution , controlled by a bulb pump locateed. Inside the Sccrotum to achieve an artificial errecttion. It is totally independent from natural bloodflow
Embolization works but you need to see a really good experimented vascular surgeon. It is so specific. I only know one in France who teaches in America his knowledge. Professor Eric Allaire. He has a website in English. If you're older than 30...the final result can be poor. Then a penile implant will be your final solution.
Only for some time. I was told it by 2 urologists indepedently before I did the procedure, but I hoped that it would not concern me. I did the embolization in one of the top clinics in US by an excellent specislist, and it worked decently well for 1.5 years. After that the effect started depleting: first slowely, then- exponentially. After 2 years everything came back to the pre- embolization point.
Insurance does cover it. It depends which insurance you have. Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield covers it, but you have to meet the requirements. If you've had ED more than 6 months and have used medications, the injection or a vacuum device without success.
MANY years ago, I knew a man in his early 80’s who had one of these implants. Probably one of the first released by the FDA. He got it to pump up but couldn’t get it to deflate. Poor man, he was in pain for several days until he could get back to his doctor!🤣
Can anyone comment on the cost and if medical insurance covers the procedure? Those individuals in their 70s, did medicare cover it, or do you have to pay out of your pocket for the entire thing?
Mam I need some suggestions I have taken wrong tablets for increasing dick but from 1 week I lost my control on my dick I can't even able to erect my dick I am an introvert so please give any suggestions mam plz
See urologist as fast as you can. Yeah he will ask you take out your pant and show him penis. If the condition has worsened (which I think not) he may write first blood test, second the normal ultrasound. Then he would give you medicine for 2 to 4 months. After taking medicines continuously, you don’t get result he will may ask you to get penile doppler ultrasound which is expensive but not that much for your sex life. After that urologist guide you upon your report.

What if your Uro Dr. isn't informed as others. I've used the o-ring band but it's uncomfortable. Can you get the penis pump and still get as good a orgaseum
Hello Doc, wondering if implants the same way a normal penis does? Is it pleasure like a normal one? I'm not quite knowing rather to do this procedure or go with the P-shot.
Hello doctor how are you ?! Is it ok to let the penile implant inflated for to long or is it better to inflate and deflate each time i have sex ?! Because i inflate once and i do sex 3 or 4 times.
That’s what I said when I could still get an erection. Then for 7 years I tried Viagra first. After a while viagra stopped working. Then my urologist put me on Trimix injections. Same thing with that, he kept increasing & changing the Trimix to no avail. I changed urologists and he suggested an implant. I got my implant in October and so glad I did!!
Absolutely not true. Men whose penises have already shrunk due to chronic ED (yes, this happens because the penis needs blood flow to retain size, or it shrinks) will likely not regain original length. Men who still have blood flow at the time of surgery will likely lose neither length nor girth. I would know.
I’m young now but in some point of my I may need and implant, in my case I’m grower and size dobles when erect … will I have my full size if I need the implant or I will just have my non erected size??
If you get it while you still have some function (blood flow from viagra, injections, morning wood), then you should lose no length and girth. Wait too long and you’ll likely never regain original size. Watch Dr. Perito’s or Dr. Clavell’s YT videos on this subject.
