This is amazing! I had no idea that Roberta and Ken Williams were back to making games! And the "you feel a strange pulling sensation".. Yeah right to nostalgia lane with that line! I always enjoy your attention to detail and passion for these types of games, it's not only a great review of a game, but may be one of your best ones yet!

It just dawned on me how much work must go into remaking a text adventure. All the visuals, sound, and music had to be designed from scratch. I think Roberta and Ken did an amazing job bringing this classic back to life.

Aarrr! As an Australian who rented a lot of DVDs, that 'Piracy is a crime' music was a reminder evertime I put on a movie that I should give up on my dreams of setting sail for a life of gold doubloons. Back in the cupboard go my eye-patch and wooden leg. 😢 Great review full of surprises! 😁👍

The Hellfire Club did not have shenanigans. They were much too sinister for that, though sometimes they played Dungeons and Dragons on pizza night and that could get pretty wild.

Quick question that I haven't seen answered clearly anywhere else. You said there's a "turn limit as each action takes up a turn." What counts as an action in that context? Entering a new room? Or that plus picking things up / dropping them?

I believe it's looking, interacting, opening inventory and loading new area, though I'm actually not entirely sure!
