Combaticons - Fall of Cybertron Deluxe Class 

I am not sure if anyone has said this yet or not (did not feel like taking the time to read through all the comments) but Onslaught does indeed have back and forth motion in the legs, but the joint is VERY tight, in order to accommodate the weight of combined mode.

Now this is a good set. No hand/foot attachments

When you were doing Blast Off it was still showing Onslaught’s tech specs

onslaught in vehicle mode is about as threatening as an empty supermarket trolley

you rotate onslaught's legs back one click, and put him in vehicle mode. Not only does he look better, but the cannons point forward as well.

I've seen them, but the torso was the military titans upgrade kit onslaught

btw, you can join all the weapons (i do a bit different than the one showed in the manual) and puts them on the back of bruticus. I've done it and it looks awesome. I think Hasbro have done a great job to make them attachable with each other.

i can relate with blast off from his bio. also i LOL so hard with the voice saying autobts and decepticons

They may have new heads but it's the same mold, and parts can be swappaed around if you want.

Nice review. I picked up all five at tru. I have to admit, the colors do look better in person. It also surprised me how articulated Bruticus is.

Really in depth review! Excellent job! The computer voices were kinda hard to understand at times, but I never cared much for bios personally. I really look forward to picking these guys up whenever they are at retail. They are way too much online for me. I had the opportunity to get the SDCC version when I was there but I passed on it as I was afraid I'd be forced to mail him home (the box was gigantic). Also thanks for showing off Brawl's "cannon mode". I'm glad that's possible.

technically 5 because there is going to be a repaint/ remold of bruticus that will be a wrecker combiner called ruination coming out this year

The inward joint in Brawl's arms are meant to give him a bigger heel spur in foot mode

Are the combiner ports the same as power core because they look pretty similar, I just want to make it clear because I might be thinking of getting a couple of these guys to make a non official team for my one power core combiner toy

Onslaught and Bruticus actually have back and forth movements on the legs, they are strong but can be moved.

You can move Onslaught's hips forward. The ratchet joints just might be a bit tough.

U can do the jet mode for vortex. Point the swords out for wings then take the blades and make them into two propelers and make them strait

im in agreement with you with the spoils of hercules and giant its hard for hasbro to compete with a perfect combiner like them since there limited to certain audiences to where as with third party companies only have to reach out to collectors so they can hit something spot on and make a collector happy while hasbro has to appeal to the kids

Vortex reminds of a figure I had of Beast Wars Air-Razor that was predominantly Navy blue or dark purple with a blue and red face, with some silver.

i got the G2 version and personally i like the colors more than the other 2 color schemes. just personal opinion though

you gotta push onslaughts torso further down til the bruticus head is resting in the crotch plate and the gun will point forward properly in vehicle mode

I got stressed marks on the holes on gun when I tried to peg it to onslaught's arms in Vehicle mode

I ordered the G2 Bruticus mainly because I wanted to be accurate to at least something, color wise. Others' opinions may say otherwise but I like them and their colors. Now what I just said might not make sense, grammar wise, mainly because I'm half asleep/awake.

Five versions if you count the takara issue, done up in metallic paint.

I'm a bit late, but Onslaught does have forward and back hip movement. It's just really tight.

Apparently Onslaught has hip froward and backward movement, but it is a very strong ratchet joint

4 different paint schemes. Takara will have their own version in the shiny chrome / game accurate colors.

I haven't got the figure, but having played the actual game, I love Vortex as well!

Technically, it's a retool and the "official" Ruination configuration has the legs and arms swapped from Bruticus.

Im sorry, the hips on ONSLAGHT DO swivel. Theyre made tight for combined mode

At first Bruticus seem to not fully impress me till you can actually have him in hand, joints are tight and his color scheme grew on me. I bought at BBTS for $99, but I heard Hasbro raised the prices on this set. I agree with alot of peps that he seemed way too thin, especially with Onslaught when he is torso section of Bruticus, but I did like the fact in robot/vehicle mode that he's the same size as the rest of the Combaticons, I guess that was Hasbro's aim.

The Takara version will be the game accurate colors as well ( ..so...SDCC buyers got kind screwed over)

for my cybertronian figures i tried to give them an animal mode so far i got a crab for wfc megatron a tarantula for foc soundwave and a wingless dragon for foc blast off you guys should try it its awesome

actualy we're getting 4 versions total 1.this retail set 2.the sdcc set 3.the bbts/walmart exclussive set 4.and the retail ruination/wreckers set

blast off makes a better foot if you pull his arms out to the front and make them into toes

Well I missed out on the sdcc version so I decided to get the combaticons form them into bruiticus then paint a few places and That's good enough for me

My Blast-Off is fine I mean the tabs are perfectly stable no stress no damage, and I have transformed him at least 75 times (before I got Vortex, still collecting).

yes in fact,that is my x-mas gift and i will show ougslaught has swindle,s color brawl stay's the same, v and bo are silverish blue, and swindle is red.

@baltmatrix you should watch optibotimus' review, you'll know what to do with Swindle's arms.

The skittles color schemes clearly work better for some bots then for other. Individually the robots work for me but the unsatisfying way in which they combine will probably keep me from going too far out of my way to get the set in my collection.

I got very lucky. I found all these guys at one time at my Toys R Us and they were having one of there Christmas sales. I got the whole set for sixtey dollars with tax and for that price def well worth it. I like him best in his offical config but the other ways you combined him were cool. I also like the colors. Didn't think I would but in person they look great and really pop. Blast Off is prob my fav from this set. Thanks for the awesome and I'm sure very time consuming review.

i would say that brawl's bonus mode would be a Siege Tank!

Don't get me wrong he does look cool but still didn't like how he turned out, in my opinion.

Vortex repainted would be a nice Blades.

Er, Onslaught's legs can move forwards and backwards... They are just on SUPER tight ratchet joints.

Immediately when I saw Brawl, my favorite combaticon, I just thought "oh dear god..." I knew there wasn't going to be a lot of pose ability in Brawl because I have seen so many figures that came out like that. I was depressed about that.

Just got Brawl, Swindle, and Vortex in Target today! They were the only ones I needed in order to complete Bruticus. He's freaking awesome!

For brawls leg mode you needed to fold his arms onto his chest. The weird arm articulation was made for his combiner mode
