Hello Mr. Cieslinski! My name is Alan I came here from youtube, guided by Dimash Dears! I have been asked MANY MANY times to translate your Dimash reactions. Russian Dears want to know your thoughts.. May I have your permission to translate, dub and reupload your dubbed reaction (as well as my reaction to your reaction) on my own channel, please? I will translate only your Dimash reactions and all the links to your channel and video will be the first mentioned in the video description! It would be great to have your answer! My channel - ru-vid.com Side note: I have been doing translations for over two years, but I had to delete them all (330 translations). I had over 40 million views as well. So I am starting over with a new format, which includes my reaction to your video. You can find out about this in my lasest videos. Best wishes, Alan
This is one of my favourite beatles 🎵 songs. And these guys kill it. Great observation on the spaces they choose as well, I particularly noticed it with Roxanne.
So great to see AMK and Henning's voice getting international recognition. They started as street musicians in Cologne and Düsseldorf (you can still find some videos in their channel) Can you imagine stumbling upon Henning's voice while your are shopping down a pedestrian street in town? What a treat! They have a great playlist of one of their 2019 live concerts in Berlin, where you see them "au naturel" and they are amazing! Henning is a virtuous and sensitive writer, as many of his lyrics reflect. Their 2023 tour has just being announced -in the biggest locations so far. Not sure if they are going to the USA though. Keep an eye 👁️ on them, there is more to come from them.
I love how they used the space's acoustics. It gives the song a garage band vibe. Hello, nostalgia my old friend... If only garage bands sounded this good.
Exactly what I was thinking. Especially at 6:30 to the end. Standing directly between the building opening and the camera (which may captured its own pickup). You know the neighbors heard all of it!
OMH🤯-Henning's voice is UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE! I am ALWAYS on the hunt for music (of ANY genre) that touches me; AMK doesn't just touch me, they KNOCK ME OUT!
Ever since they showed up in my recommended videos a month or two ago I've been nearly obsessed with this group. I can't get enough of them. I've been forcing all my friends listen. I hear their coming to tour in USA. Germany better be careful. We might keep them :)
Same. It was only yesterday but I'm not sure how many vids of them I have seen. Their music is addictive. And now I want to learn German to better appreciate them.
There lead singer is so powerful whenever he sings (when he sings in German it’s intimidating but beautiful) As a fellow band kid (bass trombonist) been playing trombone for 10 years. It’s really cool to see how a band director reacts to this stuff. Great content love the reaction videos Hello from Sweden
Thanks for the kind words and keep working hard you’ll go far for sure. Trombone is a cool is trument to play. I love it when I play along with my students.
Kind regards from Germany: actually their own songs really have gorgious lyrics full of meaning, heart and humor. AnnenMayKantereit startet as a local Deutsch-Rock-Band from Cologne and became famous here way before they started these cover songs.
Another comment for their song „James“ Hennings voice is just out of universeve.. And of course „Barfuß am Klavier“ as my all time favorite. fan on their first our, their concerts are just amazing!
Oooowee! Never heard about this band before. This song has 2 of my favorite instrumental features - a great bass line and brushes on the percussion. They did a great job on this. That opening bass line sent me right back to my college dorm room. Thanks!
Great band, love Henning May's voice. They don't have enough songs in English so I jam to their German stuff. Love it all. I love their sound, they are so much fun. It's clear they love doing what they do. I'll be speaking German soon, or at least singing German...
I have absolutely LOVED Joe Cocker's version from the Across The Universe soundtrack, but this might be my new favorite. The whole band is great, but Henning May's voice is just hypnotic.
I really like listening to these guys. Love HM tone. Also enjoy that unlike so many musicians these guys find places that are outside w/awesome acoustics instead of in a studio...
I love your reactions, Ive been their fan for 5 years and Im in love with their songs, i love that people from other countries get to know them now, although they were already popular in Germany before their viral tiktok, looking forward to the next reactions
His voice kinda reminds me of Jim Morrison. I can't get his voice outta my head!! It's cool can stay as long as it wants loving it ❤️ thank you for bringing this awesome guy with a doubly awesome voice to us 👍
I ALWAYS ENJOY YOUR REACTIONS. I know you have reacted to TOM"S DINER, ROXANNE AND VALERIE. YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT THESE COVERS: SPRINGSTEEN'S I'M ON FIRE, CANT GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD (WITH A BAND CALLED PARCELS) NEIL YOUNG'S THE NEEDLE AND THE DAMAGE DONE(1ST VERSE ABT GIRLS OFFERS FOR DRUGS, THEN HIS BEST FRIEND DIED OF AN OVERDOSE, then they started like tumbling dice leaving us: BRIAN JONES, HENDRIX, JANIS JOPLIN, JIM MORRISON, DUANE ALLMAN(mtrcycle accident.but he still died) MORE COVERS: 😅JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S CRY ME A RIVER(JUST HENNING.& CHRISTOPHER (GUITARIST) OUTSIDE IN ITALY. NOW I THINK YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED WITH THEIR ORIGINALS IN ENGLISH FROM 8 to 11 yrs ago. LEAVIN, WAITING, DON'T SAY A WORD,, SOMEDAY SOMEWHERE, YOUR DOOR(S. KANTEREIT IS PLAYING A CAJONE WITH HIS HANDS AND THEIR FRIEND, HOLGER IS PLAYING A STEELE DRUM with his hands, C. ANNEN ON ACCOUSTIC GUITAR & HENNING'S GREAT VOICE. THEY HAVE 2 VIDEOS OF JAMES (ST JAMES INFIRMARY) THEIR own lyrics but same melody. One's in a field and the other is abt 7 yrs ago at The Live in Berlin Concert. Filled a huge arena. Henning has that great blues quality. I'd like for him to cover some of GREGG ALLMAN'S SONGS, LIKE AINT MY CROSS TO BEAR, MELISSA, DREAMS AND STORMY .MONDAY BLUES. ANYWAY, EVEN IFVYOU DON'T REACT TOVALL OF THESE, I REALLY THINK YOUVWILL BE IMPRESSED OH BY THE WAY, HENNING IS A GREAT PIANO PLAYER.
i am hearing them since 2013. such a nice band. have their original album in my shelf. just love them. i saw them playing in front off 100 people a few years ago. the year after they started playing in front off thousands.
Wow that’s a cool story. So awesome. I’d love to talk with these guys in my channel. Not sure how to contact them though. Their website is all in German.
@@bobcieslinski I'm sure there is an email address for contact on the website I can imagine they would be happy to do that, they speak English too I'm from Germany but have no personal contact, but I "follow" them for years, so that's my subjective impression. Try it 😎
@@Frank_inSA I’ll try to find the email and try to google translate it. It would be amazing to talk with them. I agreed to do the Tom’s Diner video for my son for his birthday a year ago. He asked me and I had no idea who they were. He heard them on TikTok. Now I’m so glad I did that because I love that song and their covers.
His voice is simply outstanding, and I hope he's able to train it to maintain that power as he ages. Some of those shouted notes sound like they're stressful, or at least would absolutely burn out my vocal cords quick.
Lo mejor de todo es que se divierten haciendo música, Henning May tiene una voz tan espectacular, llevan años haciendo música y siempre es tan genial escucharlos
@@bobcieslinski It's the attempt that counts. The pronunciation was much better. 👍🏼 We have a saying in Germany: "Deutsche Sprache, schwere Sprache" (German language, difficult language).
My first experience, listening to this band was a RU-vid short clip of Henning from Come Together. I quit scrolling and watched about 20 of their videos. Most were in German, but I didn’t care. Thank you for bringing some more attention to this amazing group.
So something i was seeing that took me awhile to figure out. Henny's powerful voice and the vain in his neck. Reminds me of (a different genre of music) K-Ci from Jodeci. Different sounds but it's like they pull from the same place in their body. Love those powerful vocals!
This young man blows me away, I don't think I can say I've been this blown away in many many years, this young man needs to cover everything Janis did and focus on the BLUES ....He's "Janis-Elvis" special, the range and depth on this kid.....W O W....thank you Bob, I agree :) ....Hope we get more of him in the USA. Subbed, I love searching the world for unknown people. Best unknown recently, you might want to check out (Dub Garden) thanks again
Yes I did notice that. Seems like a lot of on location videos he does that. I think it just works better for that situation. That’s for letting me know and for watchjng!
Hey this guys voice is out there and reach past his comfort zone a nd back amazing I German also but what strikes me is why hold ack with this , another voice that is out there fellow that sings d evil where a suit and tie
You should check Breakdown by Dirty Loops. This is my new favorite song after an attendance of their gig and that was beyond describe. Of course Jonah's crystal clear vocal are incredible but the most attracted me is Aaron's musicianship. He hit some cymbals bare handed from many angles or even before these hits he swing cymbals. All these are surely intentional and from his professionalism. Literally the best drummer on the earth.
@@bobcieslinski I found a studio song they did with English subs..... he's solo on this one, with the band along. Not 100% sure but I think it's a love song? Either way, it has a TON of emotion to it. If you've already seen it, sorry for the duplication: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fkyrR3sM0qk.html
I dont think the beatles are up on some high untouchable pedestal but it sounded borderline insulting that he said "an old beatles song" the same way he said an old susan vega song. They arent even in the same leauge.
PS: Found two videos from early AnnenMayKantereit for you, both in English. First up, one of their street musicians performances, with an improvised song, it seems. Dates from 2011 apparently. Very cute reaction to a toddler passing by... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bJ0OlnolzKo.html Here another live acoustic session, as a flashmob during a university lecture in 2013. "Made me Believe" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-av0M0i1S8QI.html the reactions from the students is precious and spontaneous. Enjoy!
Man, the intensity that he brings is visible in his head, and neck... you can see what it takes for him to produce that voice... there's no low effort approach to that vocal product which is why it's so unique. I don't mean this in any bad way, but he looks like he could stroke out from the strain of it... probably why its so uncommon sounding
I love to see your reactions and I really love to listen to AMK and their music. May be you want to react to AMK - Bang Bang - really nice collab too. Some originals: Freitagabend (live session) --> absolutely funny or the newiest ones --> Ich geh heut nicht mehr tanzen (Proberaum Session) or Ausgehen (Proberaum Session). My favorites: AMK - Schlagschatten and Barfuß am Klavier. Different acts: Namika - Je ne parle pas francais feat. Black M or Namika - Que Walou --/-- Joshua Lee Turner - Bury A Friend
