@@seant1326 I don't want people subbing to my main channel in hopes of getting more comic dubs that are never going to appear. So that's why they are being put on their own channel.

I can’t find the original comic. Was this the entire thing?

I won't lie, I have just a bit of knowledge of the games myself. But I do enjoy the music, merch, art, and comics! So I can't really say what's canon and not : 'D

​@@leafuchiicomicdubs6117These days.... The crazy one is apparently the canon one.... That being said. That wasn't always the case. She USED to be more like this. Which I vastly prefer.... However, the edgelord fanon Flan ended up becoming the canon one.... But then again.... The Touhou fanbase rarely sticks to canon personalities anyway. It's kind of a do what you want thing. (So I just ignore the canon one. Besides, if she was more like an actual kid, rather than some edgelord. She'd ironically be more frightening in the villain role.... Just look at the Collector in The Owl House to see how a Godlike child villain could be. =V)

Both of the cute version and the psychpathic version of Flandre arent canon. You should check on the official Detective Satori Manga. Flandre is just a weirdo who actually dont mind at all being locked in that basement because she got many game to play and enjoy tasty food every time she is hungry. She knows that the basement cant block her anyway. As for the "psychopathic trait", she enjoys destruction, but not in the sense you could see it. For her destruction is the act of undoing what someone made. Thats why you can see her wanting to do chore with Sakuya. Cause she find it funny to wash what strain someone made She is just an introvert weirdo. As with most touhou character she falls more into the "you cant understand whats non humain" personnality. Even in detective Satori everybody freak out when she tries to kill Meiling but turn out Meiling was actually posseded by an evil spirit and Flandre was just trying to kill someone who nearly killed Patchouli. (And stoped when the evil spirit bailed out) Also yeah I agree with the "I dont care about canon" mindset of touhou fandom. The creativity possibility of touhou is what made it popular in the first place and both psychopath and cute flandre can be fun

Yeah but at the cost of her having her Fanon personality.... Ironic. In them trying to flesh her out. All they did was make her more of a shallow character archetype....

​@@DataDrain02It's certainly different from eosd, but it is nowhere near to the level of fanon, also it had been 20 years since eosd and she wasn't that relevant to begin with so it was almost a given that Zun wouldn't write her like in eosd, I don't think she's as flanderized as you say considering that she didn't have that much canon at all

@@secretminty6398 Sakuya's? No. Meiling's? More than likely. Sakuya's ability to manipulate time and space also has the implications of being able to stop her own aging.

There written in Remila's profile that she locked up her sis for 495 years in a basement but it might be not true. Because it's also stated that Flandre is stronger then her sis Remila, so Remila can't lock her up against her will. Then you might think that Sakuya and Patchouli can just do it for her. But then again, in eosd cast when the scarlet mist incident occurred, Sakuya's age was around 20 and Patchouli's was around 100 years old. But Flan was in her basement for 495 years and I don't think Remila could had done it alone. Plus it's confirmed in Cheating Detective Satori ( an official manga series ) that Flan is staying in her basement isn't against her will or anything.

@@dinosaur9406 i'm more on the Perfect Memento and Symposium of post Mysticism, in which there is written lots of time "A vampire cause a mess when the SDM arrived in gensokyo".. CDS is another time line and the age of people who can manipulate time and space are to be taken lightly"...More over Flan refer often about her sister with "that person" meaning than something had appened between them (most likly Remilia force the fate of Flandre to be in the basement, in fact forcing her in a non conventional way)

@@MrOtakulord the most common fanon interpretation before is that maybe Flan with her destructive ability caused too much harm so Remi locked her up thinking that's for the best I still prefer the newest official Flan, not down right insane like many fanon works but a hikikomori weirdo. Tho that's a bit like Kaguya isn't it ?
