Cracked five boxes. Paid $200 each for three of them, bought two for $270 shipped. Lost money on all of them. That's WITH two Mana Drain pulls, two Vampiric Tutor pulls, three Opposition Agent pulls, one Jeweled Lotus pull. 1/3 the pack being commanders (2-3 being uncommon), 1/3 the pack being commons, you REALLY have to hit on Vampiric, Mana Drain, Jeweled Lotus. The Etched Foils dropped from $10 a pop on a bunch of them to under $2 a pop overnight.

Singles prices will come down. They always do. Rudy, don't be a Timmy!!! You know these prices will not hold and as long as Timmy's Emporium doesn't go on the secondary market and buy 2000 boxes because he oversold to Patreons, the Collector 's Boxes will come down as well. They will probably follow the track of Throne Collector's boxes.

I cracked my first Commander Legends Collector Booster last night. I pulled a foil extended art Jeweled Lotus and extended art Mana drain. Just sold the lotus for $240 and the drain for $63. Daddy is happy.

With my draft box that I preordered, I can confirm that Vamp Tutor and Mana Drain are more common there. Opened one of each along with an Op Agent and two Hullbreacher’s (one foil.) And from what I’ve seen and opened, every draft box has at least two etched foils. Mines were Sakashima and Krark. One of my buddies pulled a Zur and a Kamahl.

Can anyone tell me how the quality of these cards are? The last few sets had major roller marks, hazing, and machine scratches on the regular foil cards? The Etched foils are supposed to help with this but has it helped?

They are perfect. Honestly the etched rare cards are amazing. They do not curl. You can score 1-2 etched cards per normal booster box. The collector box gives you most of them.

In my draft box (Belgium printing) I was SUPER impressed with the quality. They have a better hand feel, almost waxy and didn’t smell like shit lol. No weird SUPER dark cards like Ikoria or the most recent mystery boosters. Etched coils are amazing in person, you have to see for yourself.

@@1994JonnyBoyokay that answer I gave was dickish but is true, we missed our chance to get it now the only place you can get it is through re-sellers for $300+ ....its called "The Wisp" its part of the original and >EXCLUSIVE< kin fables art collab with Seb Mckinnon and Drew Tucker as part of an >EXCLUSIVE< as in one time only KICKSTARTER campaign that Seb held....not sure what the original price was of it and the other playmats as I wasn't aware of it while it was running but yeah I wish I was as it was probably more affordable then wat the re-sellers (if you can even find any of them) are selling it for

What is with all the hyping of the prices of the etch foil commanders? In Europe the prices for those are shockingly low. For example Prossh is barely €4 and Muldrotha €6. The most expensive one are Thrasios at €17 and Sakashima at €15. Most of the new commanders are only €1 or €2.

The etched foils wont retain any value. You pull the most amount of those per pack other then commons. So with them even being mythics, it doesn't matter. All of them will drop like rocks because the supply will be ultra high.

I think all collector boxes are made in USA... sadly. I already noticed a huge difference. Leaving the cards out of the pack for only one night, the curl is real.

I have to disagree with you about the etched cards Rudy, you get a guaranteed 3 etched cards per pack. How many extended art jeweled lotus per pack? Or scroll rack or tutor? You said it yourself haven't seen a single mana drain yet, not to mention in draft boxes you get on average at least 1 rare/mythic etched but have no chance of getting an extended mythic foil lotus, tutor ect... full art mythic foils is where the $$$ at Also first box I opened of collectors had an extended art mana drain and regular foil mana drain. The etched cards do look really nice and I expect some of the popular ones will be worth a bit in the long run

Only collectors I've liked a lot has been Ikoria. The comic art, godzilla art, and even the normal art was just too damn nice. Sadly I slept on it when Rudy had his blunder and owned the market and himself. I'll snag some regular ikoria boosters and have my fun.

Was your box made in USA or Belgium? The USA cards are the only ones I have that curl. The Belgium cards are perfect after 2 weeks sitting on my desk.

@@bmay81 My boxes are USA both curled very shortly after opening. The humidity in here is only 30% unless my meter is wrong. For now the cards are tightly boxed with some desiccant. The curl is very slight but it's enough that the cards don't lie flat. You can sort of flip them between concave/convex and they stick in that position.

@@bmay81 that's still better than my box lol. Didn't hit anything, not even a hullbreacher or opposition agent. My mythic was a Seriphic greatsword. Literally the only decent card I got was Sakashima etched. All my other etched was trash. I did get a full art non foil vault of champions. Which I guess was my best non etched card.

Uh... did these prices tank in just hours? I bought my 2 packs at like 11am PST, Friday, and checked prices at like noon and my extended art Scroll Rack was like $32 tcg low and the extended art blue/green battlebond land was like $9... and the etched foils were like $3 if you're lucky... I hit the mythic extended art power house card and broke even on my two packs for $50... it appeared sellers opened over a 100 of these and are dumping the singles all at once; which seems legit retarded.

Went to two Walmart’s today . Both had about 20 each commander legends collector blisters tore open and empty thrown back on the shelves with the inside packs stolen . I thought they would learn there lesson from Double masters but I guess not .. those packs will end up on Craigslist I’m sure ... sad

Draft boxes will tank to $90 and Collectors' Boxes will tank to $170 once the next couple sets are released and the hype train moves on to the next shiny thing and the price of a Jeweled Lotus drops to $8. Mana Drain won't drop below $50 though. And Scroll Rack will hold it's $20 price tag.

9:38 I think the box shits all over Zendikar. I try to like Zendikar, 'and the cards are as pretty and all that, but... . But Commander Legends is legendary!!! That's why they will reprint da f out of it. it's the great reset for MTG just like the rest of us. Popular is not a bad thing in this circumstance, indeed it's what you want from a set, thus utter success for Hasbro I'd say.
