Here for the picking is the IC3 Tactical padlock from the Commando Lock Company. A locksport-friendly company that is always willing to receive feedback from the community and improve their products. If only more manufacturers were as open-minded and cared as much about their products. My respect, good people of Commando.

Pretty cool lock! I didn't know much about Comando locks, cool that they are locksport friendly and listen to feedback. I really like that shackle guard and shackle removal feature.. Pretty neat! Thanks for sharing!

They make some quite solid locks. That they listen to the locksport community (like PacLock) is a great thing, yes. Such companies are certainly deserving of some love and respect.

Interesting padlock. I would imagine that shackle guard could end up being a hassle for some who just want to get access to their stuff without having to take a lock apart and put it back together when they leave. Also a bit tricky to get access to when under fire in a war zone and shaking scared needing amo or something.. Thanks for showing this lock well picked matey

Cheers. It is removable, so you could just throw it in a drawer and forget about it. In war, just shoot the bloody thing. :)

Interesting video! Funny I ordered same lock from AMAZON last week after 2 days my order was cancelled no explanation,unable to reach COMMANDO either! Disappointed on that!! I Think its a great lock,featured the one without guard earlier in channel! Thanks for sharing!

I am not sure about this lock, but anti bump is usually a pin above a key pin that does not move. It stops one key pin from being able to move high enough for bumping to work.

We'd need to cut it open to be sure what Commando means by the term. That task will have to be left for someone else though. I'm curious, but not curious enough to cut open this lock. :) As you suggest, the idea is not exactly new though.
