@@michasokoowski6651i played a wild magic sorcerer (like irl dnd) who loved fireball and well… it went about as well as one might imagine. not too much damage! no TPKs! 😭 i love the stupid wm sorcerer table lol it’s so funny. iirc she turned into a potted plant once 😅
@@michasokoowski6651What were the bugs? It's still pretty annoying he wants to eat magic items early in the game when magic items are hard to come by. I don't see that as a bug though, that's intentional, lol.
@@TeamLexana From giving him magic items you got too much affinity prettty much almost maxing it out, it made it so he was hitting on you almost instantly, then a bug where you rejecring him wasn't properly flagged, so he was pretty much hitting on you every few rests until all romance cutscenes were used up. And then people not understanding social cues and what he means by "showing you some magic in his tent"

Did you have your ears plugged up when Lae'zel stepped up to flirt/threaten him in your defense? If anything she was the most effective as she had him more distracted.

Honestly, since she's a Tiefling he could have gone for some real dirty blows. Personally, I think he considered doing that during tge brief pause before going with "Fire Girl." Probably decided against it because she's VERY clearly a person you don't want to push too far...

Probably because he saw you (and potential companion) killing the brains in the ship wreck (he says so), so he thought that saying he saw one would interest you. But well, it is canon that he isn't a mastermind.
@@CallyEndraYes, but if he saw that we are killing the brains, than it's obvious we aren't working with the mindflayers, because they wouldn't attack us as the thralls. Yea, it's canon in the epilogue that Astarion's brain is more smoother than the rest if your Tav is a mindflayer ha.
@@pativi6643Also I suppose it depends what you did before in the nautiloid. You have the option to befriend a brain. What if he saw that while still being trapped in his pod? And now he sees you killing those brains. Those brains in the ship wreck may have gone rogue for all he knows and that's why you would want to kill them even though you are with the illithids. Who knows what's going through his mind. But agreed, he could have hid in the shadows and pounce there. (even though there wasn't much shadow to pounce from xD)
But did he even know what a mindflayer is? As Tav we’re like “who what where why? Thrall, no, uh, explain” to Lae’zel - so it’s not actually that strange if he doesn’t know Illithids or why we wouldn’t want to kill this brain like we did the others.
I love how there's some measure of veiled threat to all of them, even if it's just long-winded... And then there's Karlach going fully Nic Cage. Astarion's retort would work better on just about anyone else in the world lol
I remember my first interaction with astarion. I head butted him and said he owed me more then an apology. He responded with sarcasm, and then months later he was the best man at my tavs wedding with karlach
This scene is always so goofy to me lmao. None of the companions adopting a combative stance, Astarion awkwardly craning his neck to look at them thanks to the weird decision to have this confrontation on the ground, it's just so silly. They've reworked a handful of other sequences in the game to give them some improved animations, I'm surprised this one still hasn't recieved the same treatment.
