Should Star Trek Enterprise get a conclusion?
Did you know?
…that contrary to the belief of visual Star Trek fans around the world, the episode “These are the voyages…” was not the end or the last episode for Star Trek ENTERPRISE series. This episode still causes debates on the visual/virtual world of the internet.
According to the Star Trek ENTERPRISE book series, published by Simon & Schuster, "These are the voyages” was an inaccurate and imprecise computer re-creation by Commander William Riker (TNG) were some of the scenes were not true facts. They did not really happen as were shown.
The story of ENTERPRISE continued away from the eyes of the visual and virtual fans through the struggles and conspiracies at formation and then consolidation of the Federation flowing onto the Romulan Wars and the development of new technologies and alliances.
Captain Archer became an Admiral and some of his officers became captains of their own ships during the war Against the Romulan Empire. Some got involved in covert action and some allies did not fulfill their promises to the Federation of planets. If the episode “These are the voyages” was true none of this could have happened.
In the books “Last full measures “and “The good that men do” we find that commander Tucker did not die, but instead was genetically altered and became a Section 31 spy inside the Romulan Empire.
The book series also leave a possibility that T’pol did not end as a lonely, fatherless, motherless, childless Vulcan ostracized by her own people because of her stand in favor of the human mission and contrary to her Vulcan superiors. A federation widow. It is not clear but there is a warmth in the heart of Star Trek fans and in parts of “To brave the storm” that T’pol and Tucker finally ended their lives together (with kids).
Today the conversation about the premature end of Star trek ENTERPRISE continue on the internet and social media demonstrating that fans (old and new Trekkies and non Trekkies) worldwide would like to see it back on the screen for the conclusion of the unfinished stories within ENTERPRISE.
You can help by contacting, spreading the word and sharing these simple videos (or make your own) asking CBS/Paramount and Startrek.com to bring back ENTERPRISE to give a honorable conclusion the story.
It’s not impossible, and now is the right time.
Thank you.

I wish. Jolene and John maybe not for a series, but a movie? How can one cover the Romulan War, beginning of the Federation, other stories,, and the conclusion in a 2 hr.movie unless one truncated them-and hopefully without some holodeck adv. by "DS9" (as added in " The Good That Men Do" that might add itself)?

Love T'Pol this way. A long way from the aloof science officer who wouldn't have missed Trip if he'd transferred off shipboard or died in the first couple of episodes or so. She said she never missed people, but by this time, she would have, especially Trip Tucker.

I do not like the way a Vulcan was humanized. That is not true to her character who unlike Spock was all Vulcan. Nonetheless the mere fact that she stayed on the Enterprise and defended them to high level Vulcan officers and their High Command shows that she developed an attachment to the crew. She would have missed Trip but may have expressed it differently. There is no doubt she had “feelings” for him and wanted to continue a relationship with him.

As do i. The way that Berman and Braga ended this series was horrible. Years later they still regret writing the last episode the way they did. Manny coto was brought in to write the latter half of season 3 and all of season 4 but Braga and Berman INSISTED on writing and producing "these are the Voyages" which was an utter disaster. This was the only occasion that Scott Bakula got angry with the writers and producers. The entire cast and even Jonathan Frakes hated this episode and thought it totally disrespected the cast for all the work they had done in 4 seasons. Bring back Enterprise for a few more seasons and retcon Trip back as has been outlined in some of the follow up books where they faked his death so that he could go undercover as an investigator for the Earth Romulan conflict that Manny Coto wanted so desperately do a story arc on. Enterprise left so many potential story lines on the table because Berman wanted to play it safe and kept going back to old tired story lines cloned from Voyager about time travel (temporal cold war). The actors and actresses are not too old, yes it's been 15 years but they could easily pick up where they left off. This needs to happen.

@@bringbackenterprise9220 yes please. Would you consider making another series to conclude the story. I watched Star Trek growing up but now I've seen enterprise and am much older I've come to love and respect Enterprise and what it stands for. As for the original star trek no one questioned the Enterprise at all whose idea was it to build it and where it would go. As with Enterprise there were so many different aliens encountered along the way some even becoming Capt Archers friends which was nice. As well as T'Pol I really like Dr Phlox too and all his critters especially his little bat. Dr Phlox is a very kind devoted person to his profession and to animals too. If you brought back Enterprise please use the original cast as we know all grows older. It wouldn't be the same without them. Like other remakes I've seen using a different cast spoils the film. So once again along with the many correspondence you've received and mine could you please consider bringing back Enterprise. Thankfully Debbie Heddle Tasmania Australia

And this scene amongst many while touching completely shattered the whole Trip and Tpol relationship. I hated these are the Voyages every minute of it and it made ZERO sense considering the trajectory that Manny Coto had taken the series throughout season 4. TATV was a creation of Berman and Braga who ran the show from season 1 up until the halfway point of season 3. They were allowed to write this atrocious last episode as Berman's "valentine to the fans and final farewell" as he retired in 2005. It was anything but a valentine and just a ridiculous statement. The episode was recieved so poorly by audiences and got such negative feedback that CBS / UPN and Paramount issued formal apologizes. years later Berman and Braga both apologized at a Trek Convention for the episode and basically stated that they should have allowed to Coto end the series at Terra Prime as he originally planned (the final scene was supposed to be Trip and T'Pol holding hands in her quarters in a moment of grief but with hope for the future together). Instead we were given this piece of garbage (spoiler alert:) where they basically say that they broke up years ago on board enterprise and parted ways on the shuttle craft never to see each other again as Trip is killed shortly thereafter and enters what appears to be the afterlife in an empty sick bay in silence. Too this day i have absolutely no idea what Berman and Braga were attempting to do in this episode. Even the founding of the federation scenes with Archer and T'Pol is strange. They talk he climbs the stairs to give a speech and you don't hear any of it and game over. It just never made sense. I don't personally view TATV as cannon as technically it was a holadeck re-creation on board the TNG enterprise by Riker.

The wonder in her eyes was from the message she read, not just Archer's hug. It was too bad they holoprogramme cut the scenes out where she goes below to meet Trip. Too bad it the last episode couldn't be left out or redone if the series could be rebooted or a movie made. How do you truncate the Romulan War, the beginning of the Federation, and the conclusion of the crew's lives into a 2 hr.movie? As nice as this scene is, because it is part of the finale episode i have disregarded it because if we follow this insult of an episode then it mean Trip is dead and that despite their clear pull towards one another Trip and T'Pol sat around and what? Side stepped the other for 10 years (if you go by this episode's timeline)? I just don't buy that. Either that or accept the theory that because this episode was a holosuite program it is inaccurate and that Trip's death was faked. Whatever belief or viable theory that allows Trip to be alive will allow for the possibility for the show to be revived and for the story of Enterprise to continue.

1. Les Moonves hated " Star Trek" anyway so any excuse was enough to get him to can it.2 Not everyone could get UPN then. When I first saw the ads for it, I thought it was just another "DS9" series and was afraid I wouldn't like it, but the more I read about it, the more I liked, and watched it, the more I liked, but I couldn't get it at first. I got cable and started watching it and liked it from the start. Wasn't sure about the song-felt it belonged on a sitcom ("Cheers) or family show like " Life Goes On")- but it wasn't too bad. I wish the intros had been more like "MFU" or "NCIS" where you got a consistent intro tune, but with a different video each season showing the chrs. as they changed over the years. Still, I liked it and seasons 3-4 were even better. Almost hated the last episode, but it had its good points. Not sure I could stand a reboot with re-casted actors-unless one died; then, I'd rather just watch reruns on Paramount+ or my DVDS.

I met Robin-and I have to say she did the best she could, given the least amt.of time she had to prepare for the role-and the change of info she was given. Leonard decided he wanted her role to be all Vulcan, not 1/2 Romulan. I think Kirstie's 1/2 Romulan, 1/2 Vulcan bkgrd. was more likely and more likeable; besides, it could've led to a connection between T'Pol, a Romulan, and a future young Saavik found on Hellguard. What if T'Pol in a 5th season episode, discovered that her father was a Romulan? Instead of just mating T'Les to bond and raise their child together, he had planned to kidnap her and take her to his world to start a new colony, but couldn't do it and left? She later rescues an injured old Romulan and he tells her his story. She doesn't know whether to trust him or not and has to mind-meld with him before he dies. Just my ideas. I don't know what Coto or Sussman were planning for the possible 5th season that didn't happen. Maybe rambling, but this is how I eventually get ideas down for a story. And Trip's not dead. He faked his death to undergo a new mission: to infiltrate the Romulans. Read: "The Good That Men Do", "Kobayashi Maru", " Last Frontier", "The Romulan War" (2 novels), and "The Beginning of the Federation" (5 novels). Of the series has been allowed to continue for 3 more seasons, the story would have better explained, but it was canned and that last episode dissolved whatever could've been seen instead of that silly holoprogramme story by Riker and Troi.

Hi, according to the Enterprise books published after the last episode, Trip did not die. His death was a cover so he could work for section 31 as a spy in the Romulan Empire.

Too bad these "woke" ideas didn't extend to a child with a potential disability had baby Elizabeth survived. We care- or don't care- about people of colour, gender, or even religion, but a child who might have a disability? Barely mentioned or covered well, or worse. Shut out or cancelled. T'Pol's-and Trip's-baby could have lived and it would have been interesting to see how she would have handled the situation as a Vulcan. She was cool, but aloof from the beginning, yet by ''Demons'/'Terra Prime', we see her as a mother who'd do anything for her baby-which is more than those who'd chose to eliminate her because she wasn't "perfect"-and this baby didn't even come out of her, but she and Trip made that journey to rescue her, even though she died. My parents said "no" to a dr. who told them to leave me behind because I had Cretinism and would be better off in an institution. They gave me the prescribed Thyroid and I did catch up. In short, while I had ADDHA, I graduated from GSU in '87 with a BA in Art. I also worked with exceptional children in various jobs, museums, and libraries. That dr. assumed I'd never amoumt to much. He was wrong. I even cried when T'Pol lost her mother on the cave and when she was talking about her mother-and about Trip-to Cpt. Archer about missing her mother because my mother died in '99. I lost my dad in '84 and cried then too.

what episode was this ??
@chrisloesch1870

last episode of series. Might be too late but don't watch "these are the voyages" despite this scene. it ruins the whole show. Stop at terra prime if you decide to watch the whole series.

Let it end a little awkward. Why? Do you want the same clowns writing for STD (Discovery) in charge of this story? Let it pass awkward. It is better than being defiled.

Fans of Farscape worked hard for a continuation and we were all rewarded with Peace Keeper Wars, but really Farscape fans got super lucky too when the story was picked up again and concluded beautifully and with dignity. I hope CBS/Paramount will one day conclude Enterprise as honorably as Farscape was concluded. Unfortunately, these days we have "woke" in the way and every strong character has to be female and lesbian, preferably black. While all the males are whiny cowardly buffoons. The atmosphere in Hollywood has changed and it may no longer be possible to return Enterprise to the screen. If they do, they'll probably screw it up anyway like they've done with Picard and Discovery. Sometimes it's best to just, ignore that last episode and enjoy the memories. Thankfully, Farscape was concluded before 'woke' really kicked in.

If it did come back, I hope the people currently running the franchise don't ruin it like everything else they touch. They might make Tpol or Trip a non binary sexual gender identity, or something else progressive. Better the ending that they gave us, rather than the drug using, gay rights progressive agendas that they gave us in Discovery and Picard. Just didn't seem realistic and came off as forced. Just saying...🤔

guess what? Star Trek has always been forced progressive to the, at the time, conservatives. you're just showing how bigoted you are by blaming "forced progressivism" instead of the actual problem "bad storylines and forced cameos"
